Is this a hack or legit job?

The whole level is like this. It looks like intestines and we might want to reclaim the space to be used. How to make it more hidden or should we remove it completely, we don't really need it? (Thinking of purchasing a home with this work).

Did I use enough caulk/apply it correctly? (I know it’s ugly)

Just did a full re-vent of my dryer because the previous owners used PVC. Never done this before and concerned about water damage. Used full silicone General Electric caulk, did I use enough to keep water damage out? Had about a quarter of an inch of space all around. I don’t see gaps, I’m just paranoid bc it’s my first house and first time doing any work like this.

I’ve got two guys! A guy to fry your food, and a brickwork guy (note back wall). Also need a guy that sharpens knives.

Not an easy reel to watch.

Dish soap bubbles leaking out of this hole in the kitchen sink

I’ve been driving myself nuts looking at every connection under my kitchen sink trying to find the source for where dish soap bubbles are leaking out. Even took off the p trap to look for clogs. Turns out, there’s this hole in the back of the extension pipe just under the sink. That’s where they’re coming out of.

Is this supposed to be there, and if so, any way to keep the soap bubbles from backing up?

My contractor says this is fine, thoughts ?

Just Kidding, background here is one of the supers walking a job site sent this to me. The story I heard from the flooring contractor is that he spoke to his crew, but thinks we should leave it as is, but moving forward he will get it done right. 😂 nah bro, you're tearing that out and redoing it...

How much worse is this than I think?

I’m definitely a trust the process kind of guy but I’ve never seen anything remotely like this. They are on day 4 and this is where we’re at. I know a lot of this gets sanded but it seems really bad.

This doesn't seem like standard quality

The contractor I hired to install my French door, seen in some of the pictures, quoted me $5000 for a 4'x6' deck with railings and steps, labor and materials included. They ended up building it out to be 5'x8' for unknown reasons. I've attached some photos of the deck from the morning after they "finished" the job. There are exposed screws and a number of sharp edges my toddler could easily cut themselves on. Would you guys pay $5000 for this? I'd appreciate any feedback.
