This doesn't seem like standard quality

The contractor I hired to install my French door, seen in some of the pictures, quoted me $5000 for a 4'x6' deck with railings and steps, labor and materials included. They ended up building it out to be 5'x8' for unknown reasons. I've attached some photos of the deck from the morning after they "finished" the job. There are exposed screws and a number of sharp edges my toddler could easily cut themselves on. Would you guys pay $5000 for this? I'd appreciate any feedback.
