Dental help, community care

I’ve gone in circles with the VA dentist in northwest Indiana trying to get care with upwards of 6 months waiting periods in-between appointments, in which my teeth usually get worse.

They tried to send me to Chicago Jesse Brown for a major surgery after misinforming me about the care I needed, I declined because I was told it was only going to be a 50/50 chance of saving the tooth if they did the major dental surgery, told them to just schedule extraction.

Schedule the extraction, show up 15 minutes early. Ended up waiting FOR TWO HOURS PAST MY APPOINTMENT just to be told that the tooth can absolutely be saved and that I should NOT get it pulled, I should’ve done the other surgery.

Have tried to get community care in the past I believe? But for one reason or the other I don’t think it ever fully went through. everyone on the internet and the VA website is giving me different answers. Do I just call the CC number? I’m fairly sure I did that, and they told me I need a referral from my dentist FIRST.

I’m about to let all my teeth fall out before I go back to the VA in Chicago. I can’t even afford the VA subsidized dental plan due to the sheer amount of work I’m going to need and going to have to pay with co-pays and such. I’m in constant pain and I’m permanently disabled due to my service to this country and my return is a medical facility that sucks so much that I sometimes wish I died in Afghanistan just so my family would be taken care of and wouldn’t have to deal with the angry, sad veteran I’ve become because of the bullshit and mental break downs the VA has continuously pushed me to.

What do I need to do to get dental CC as fast as possible?

Did I use enough caulk/apply it correctly? (I know it’s ugly)

Just did a full re-vent of my dryer because the previous owners used PVC. Never done this before and concerned about water damage. Used full silicone General Electric caulk, did I use enough to keep water damage out? Had about a quarter of an inch of space all around. I don’t see gaps, I’m just paranoid bc it’s my first house and first time doing any work like this.
