Head tilted, peeking over the edge, looking at you like you're the best thing she's seen all day. I cleaned up the dark background to let those blue eyes do the talking. This was a commission painting, and I hope I did her justice.

I hand-painted this custom oil portrait of this long-haired Dachshund, based on the original photo shared by her human. Do you think I got her right?

That long silky hair, those soft eyes, curled up on the bed like she hasn't got a care in the world. There's something so calming about painting a dog this relaxed. This was a commission painting, and I hope I got her right.

I hand-painted this custom oil portrait of this Airedale Terrier, based on the original photo shared by his human. Do you think I did him justice?

Every single curl is painted by hand. I lost track of time on this one. There was always one more strand to get right, one more highlight to add. Airedales are something else. This was a commission, and I hope I did him justice.

I hand-painted this custom oil portrait of this Rat Terrier, based on the original photo shared by their human. Do you think I did them justice?

That face says it all, pure chaos energy. Took them out of a messy car and put them on a blanket with a deep blue background. Rat Terriers are something else. I had so much fun painting this one. This was a commission, and I hope I did them justice.

I hand-painted this custom oil portrait of this Beagle pup, based on the original photo shared by his human. Do you think I did him justice?

Tiny paws, big eyes, no idea how cute he is. There's something about painting a puppy this small that you want to get every little detail right. This was a commission artwork, painted entirely by hand in oil on canvas. I hope I did him justice.

Meet Motley, a baby Bloodhound with ears he hasn't quite grown into yet. I changed the background to a soft sage green to give it a more classic portrait feel. This was a commission, painted entirely by hand in oil on canvas. I hope his human sees all the love in it. Would love to know what you think!

That little striped bow, those silky ears, looking up like he's asking for one more treat, this boy was an absolute joy to paint. I decluttered the background and gave it a deep blue to let him shine. This was a commission artwork, and I hope I got him right.

This guy walked into the frame and owned it. I swapped the busy bedroom background for a deep blue, which felt like the only right choice for a dog this regal. That cream chest against all that black, the sheer height of him is one of my favorites. This was a commission painting, and I hope I got him right.

Chin down, staring right through you. I couldn't look away while painting this one. White fur sounds easy until you're actually doing it, and those mismatched eyes just made the whole thing even more intense. I hope I got her right.

His tag says Bear, and honestly, it suits him perfectly. All that scrappy energy in such a tiny little body, I had so much fun painting this one. The way the sunlight catches his messy fur made every brushstroke an adventure. This was a commission artwork, and I hope I got him right.

Look at that smile. A white Pittie on the beach in a red bandana. I mean, how could this not be the best commission painting? The happiness just radiates off him, and I wanted every brushstroke to feel that way. I hope I got him right.

Paws crossed, staring you down like she owns the place, honestly, she probably does. Those markings, that gaze, the whole energy of her. This was a commission painting, and I hope I got her right.

Wrapped up in a blanket, staring right at you with those sad eyes, this one just melted me. The original photo was black and white, so I painted her in full color and gave it a softer sky background to open it up a bit. This was a commission painting, and I hope I got her right.

That profile, tongue out, ears up, pure joy. I changed the busy indoor background to a solid dark one to give him the spotlight he deserves. This was a commission artwork, and I hope I got him right.

Sitting tall in the grass with that autumn backdrop, this one had such a classic, timeless feel to it. Labs have that quiet dignity about them. This was a commission artwork, and I hope I did him justice.
