So she turns 1 next month. Any advice on tick/flea and heartworm meds/injections? We live in the northeast with ticks. She’s not outside every day but I do walk her frequently especially when it’s nice out. No other dogs living in the home.

My vet offered bravecto (new injection available in the USA) with coverage for a year for all three.

Other option is the smelly topical revolution with monthly sentinel pill for heartworm. I’d rather prevent issues then deal with months of treatment if she contracts heartworm or ticks. I was also reading about the horrific neurologic side effects of all of it including death and seizures so now I’m back to square one and idk what to do.

She’s 3.2lbs and healthy and I’d like to keep her healthy. Does anyone have advice or expirence with the injection, topical, or chews?

Fleas seem easy to deal with if she did catch them. Heartworm and tick borne diseases idk..

My boy turns 5 today!!! It's always bittersweet cus i know he's getting older 😞 but always grateful for him to be in my life! Happy birthday Bubba and thank you for allowing me to be your for parent

He’s been gone for almost two years now. I’ve had dogs my whole life, he was my first small one, and I miss him every day. I used to take him on walks in Brooklyn and he absolutely charmed the pants off everyone he met. These kids gave him a little stuffed turtle they had.

I have 2 females Yorkies , plus one neutered male Yorkie!! Remember I said neutered!!!

Well what the vet neglected to tell me is that my male would be fertile for up to eight weeks past neutering. I recently changed my Dogs to Dog Food from ppl food , I was so proud of myself with such great success, watching them, get fat and put on the weight that they needed it eating the right kind of food… well i was kinda right n kinda really in the dark.. im thinking they r just getting heavier n here they r both pregnant from my neutered male.. I’m totally lost in the sauce now.

This happens everytime we round this corner. If Cider isn’t out, he barks at the empty yard and sometimes waits to see if he’s going to come out.

Any suggestion on where to shop for clothes for small yorkies? Every where I look the smalls and x-smalls are still too big for my guy. He’s 5lbs for reference.
