Water propagated a single leaf velvet philodendron and it grew roots so potted in tiny pot with chunky soil mix and I noticed it wanted to climb so i stuck a little popsicle stick and attached the baby leaf. First time ever doing something like this. Suggestions? Thoughts ?
I bought it on palmstreet and I am unsure how to love her properly. It’s a lacunosa bogar Java. It’s in this odd looking substrate that is like long black sticks ? Should I repot?
She’s growing good but she’s a little oddly shaped bit cutting her makes me sad LOL
. Spotted begonia, new leaf on left and has stopped growing now what?
. String of banana and copperhead coleus
. Hoya coin (will this thing ever grow roots?)
. Colocasia black magic I got as tissue culture and it’s my first time I’m scared I’m doing it wrong
. Pothos
. Velvet leaf philodendron and African violet
. Snake plant and Hoya
. Pothos and rosemary
. More pothos!
Looks like the tallest guy is about ready to split? Also the old leaf layer on one is looking wrinkly, is that okay? Is my soil good? And when to water? Should I fertilize?
Okay so first off is my chaos pothos pot, took abunch of cuttings and they’re sharing a pot. Who are they!? That little one is growing like mad.
Then I have my big boy, part of me is convinced that it’ll shift colors to be less monotone as it ages but is that a pipe dream?!
Next some props, having lots of fun with the wet sticks for the first time.
And lastly the gorgeous white speckle one that I’m also propagating! Can’t wait for this to have enough roots so I can plant em up 🌱🌱
In order:🌱
. Chaos pothos pot (extra points if you can tell me what different pothos are there bc idk)
. Hoya lacunosa (just got her, unsure what care should be like)
. Velvet philodendron (started as a cutting)
. Lithops (tallest one seems like it’ll split soon)
. Mini pink (bought as a huge plant and i murdered it by accident so this is what’s left I’m hoping it’ll root, any suggestions welcome)
. Jade plant (with adopted babies)
. Prayer plant (my first ever house plant!)
. Monstera Swiss cheese (I think)
. Algerian ivy (I think!)
. Succulent of some sort …. (Copper stone stonecrop?)
. Barrel cactus (peep the new growth)
. Pilea (just started watering it with distilled and it’s so much happier)
. Pothos again (tried and true, have had for years but recently brought her home. Used to live in my office with zero light so she’s been very happy) (what kind is she?)
. Copperhead coleus (that hates my guts and is never happy) (please help)
. Spruce bonsai (that is starting to sprout!!!!)
Any and all opinion or thoughts are appreciated ❤️❤️❤️🌱🌱
