Running actually works!

After finishing work I would often feel really stressed out and usually that would mean picking up beers on the way home, which would offer temporary relief but id feel s**t in the morning. I switched to running most nights and not only has it been a good way to get over the stress of the day, but it's also deterred me from drinking because it has such an adverse effect on my fitness.

I saw people mentioning it as a way to reduce anxiety but was sceptical. But for me, it has really helped. Also a Parkrun every Saturday has been great way to see the progress I've been making from my fitness.

Do you guys do anything similar to reduce stress and anxiety?

Rivian coming to the UK

I wondered if there has been any recent news about a UK launch? I saw a few threads from a couple of years ago but nothing recent. Thanks.

What can I do?

Sorry if this gets asked all the time but what can normal citizens like me do to fight against the scourge of Reform? Is fundraising the main thing?

Bed time

My 12 year old son isn’t happy that bed time is at 8pm with him going to sleep at 9pm after reading a book every weekday evening. Are we being overly strict? For context he gets up about 7:30am in the morning for school. For parents with kids of a similar age when do you set bedtime for on a school night? Thanks

Lando Norris Auto. What’s it worth now?

I bought this is March 2025 for £600 on eBay. Lando became world champion since so I’m hoping it has gone up in value. What would you pay for it?

What is the best AI service for videos right now?

I see some amazing AI generated videos online right now and would love to create some myself. Which services do you recommend? I’m based in the UK so never got to try Sora2. Also are they expensive?

Frunk lighting - any good?

Have any of you purchased this? If so, is it any good? Trying to decide if it’s worth £85.

Convince people to stop disabling IPv6

I see colleagues disabling IPv6 as a networking troubleshooting step all the time. Surely this will cause major issues long term? Is this a common thing you guys see? How can we convince people that this is the wrong thing to do?
