Does anyone know what triggers a long term multi entry Schengen for tourism/conferences?

I filed for Schengen visa for France and got dispatched today, in just 1 working day!!!

VFS -> Embassy - 7th May
Embassy -> processed - 8th May

Not sure, if it’s rejected? Or approved?

So, am trying to get a 1 yr travel insurance from Tata AIG for my upcoming Schengen visit, but there is a weird issue - for one single trip, the cost comes around. 18,800 where as for multi trip, it’s 5k?
I don’t know if it’s monthly or per trip basis?
Has anyone used this feature on Tata AIG insurance?

I have a planned trip coming up via Beijing. Do Indian passport holders need a transit visa? I have seen videos where Indian passport holders were allowed to explore Beijing for 24 hrs. Is that still a thing.

I have seen Charles schwab open office in India, but not sure if they are operational yet!

I recently stayed @ a Marriott property in Yokohama, Japan and experience was great !!!

However, there looks to be an issue in the number of nights I accrued. So I stayed from 10th Feb - 14th Feb but I got the nights as only 3 nights, where as I booked for 4 nights.

P.S. I checked in on 11th morning.

Does the number of nights depend on Actual stayed nights? Or the booked nights?

Not sure if these bookings get you tier miles & flight miles?
