So watching films together, TV series, or perhaps playing a game, or whatever takes your fancy, are on the cards. Or we could just be old school, and, y'know, snuggle. I also am wont to go down intellectual rabbitholes. I tend to get fixated on things, and then sometimes just switch over to something else, or stay on the same thing for weeks. When I was a kid I used to love getting dressed up, but as an adult I haven't had any in-person friends who have wished to do so, so I'd definitely be open to cosplay. We could have a costume chest at the end of the bed! :]

I have OCD and anxiety, and I eat a restrictive diet. I view myself as a work in progress. As a consequence, I'm currently unemployed, but I did work for 6 years as a software-engineer. I guess I shall seek out another work-from-home office-y type job when I'm able. Right now I could only do part-time, but employers tend to want 9-5, you see. I do have savings to buy a flat from when I was a software-engineer, so I'm not a complete financial liability. Lol am I housewife material? xD So I guess it makes sense if you have some challenge of your own, else you might view me as a dead weight, albeit maybe a sometimes pretty one lol.

Hello. This is a public service announcement. If like me you're trying Fallout Tactics modding - or any modding - be very careful what you download and run. Copilot instructed me to find a .bos file extractor via searching for 'FT Tools Pack', claiming the .bos extractor would be bundled with such tools. I then found this forum post, https://www.nuclear-city.com/topic/1211-ft-tools-pack/. Some Russian dude uploaded an .exe to Yandex Disk and Mediafire))) I downloaded the .exe from Mediafire, and then asked Copilot, 'Bla bla bla, is this legit?' Copilot said, 'Yes, that seems right.' But what I noticed is the file had disappeared! So I downloaded it again, and I could see it there. Then it disappeared. I thought, How strange. Maybe Windows is quietly quarrantining it? So, as I was thinking of doing anyway, I ran it by VirusTotal. Do you know how many security vendors in VirusTotal flagged it? 35/72. But Copilot said yes, it's good to go. Even your co-pilot is an idiot sometimes.

The Yandex Disk file also seems to be infected.

I don't know if 'Автор Pyran' on that forum is a malicious actor, but their file seems f*cked.

So hopefully nobody makes this mistake I could have made in a parallel universe.

Frankly, I'm now unsure of any modding tool that isn't straight from the game developers, or built from source code, I suppose.

Hi! Does anybody know of any other RPGs that are 2d/2.5d (not 3d!) and are in the near-future/post-apocalyptic space? I tried modding Fallout 1/2, but the tools are impossible to get a hold of and work with using Wine on Linux, so I've given up on that. My next idea is to mod Wasteland 1. I want to replace the deserty tiles with grass/dirt, and then I'm going to add trees etc from another game or similar. I'm just wondering if Wasteland 1 is the only good candidate for a 'green Fallout' remake?

Fallout 2 actually has some tree graphics I could pilfer for this purpose if necessary

Hi. Does anybody know of a pain-free way to replace tiles of a certain kind with tiles of another? Eg replacing certain dirt/sand tiles with the grass-looking tiles (the ones with IDs 2289 and 2290). I then want to spam plants and trees across the open areas to make them look more temperate forest biome. I confess I'm a bit pessimistic about this project idea because of Fallout 1 and 2's binary format, and I believe the map tool has no replace-all function... Any ideas on a pain-free way to 'green' Fallout 1/2?

Tiles and sprites I'm interested in adding a load of:

• Grass: 2289, 2290
• Some grass/moss: 942, 943
• Some plants: 962-967
• Living trees: 1841, 1842
• Dead trees: 944-946
• Some rocks: 1725-1735

I just really like the 2.5d style and the post-apocalyptic setting, but I prefer a more temperate forest biome look, as I said.
