Is Dynamic FG worth it for 4K 120Hz?

I got a 5090 and a C3 42” OLED as my main display which only maxes out at 120Hz. Anything beyond 2X Frame Gen is useless to me so I was curious whether I should even bother turning on that feature?

Tom Henderson: Splitgate devs, 1047 Games is working on a spiritual successor to Titanfall, dubbed “Empulse”

  • Pre-alpha gameplay showed a TDM gamemode with grappling hooks, wall running, and boost pads for quick map traversal.
  • Players are also able to use giant mechs that are scattered around the map and the mechs looked “strikingly similar” to Titanfall’s
  • Mech variety is unknown at the moment but the one showed had a gatling gun, shield and a missile launcher on cooldown
  • Will be announced later this year

Why does my 42” LG C3 offer better HDR than my 27” panel even when the LG can’t hit Peak 1000 nits?

I got a two OLED setup, 1440p@360Hz for competitive games and my C3 42” for single player and media consumption.

I’ve noticed that my LG offers a much better HDR experience even though the 1440p panel has better brightness specifications. Genuinely makes even the latest monitors feel last gen compared to the TVs from like 2022.

  • Ezio will most likely appear via memory discs or Isu technology and not physically present
  • An assassin called Wolfgang will appear who will be your older mentor, compared him to Pierre Bellec from Unity
  • Wolfgang will be morally grey and controversial, basically will be the “bad cop” while Ezio the “good cop”
  • Wolfgang appears early in the story to mentor Anika while Ezio will be showing up much later
  • While this image shows traditional assassin robes, a lot of “witch” themed outfits also present
  • Full name of the lead will be Anika Adler, first name is confirmed by multiple sources but he is still doubtful on the surname

Ezio in Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be a memory glitch in the Animus Hub according to Rogue

Text strings found in the build he is detamining has the following:

  • “A Memory Glitch in the Animus Hub Allows Elsa to commune with Ezio Auditore.”
  • “Nothing is real, not even this memory”
  • Challenge strings were also found with the phrase, “he still teaches her”
  • Ezio interactions will be part of collectable memories
  • Rogue does specify that all these strings have a “TEMP” tag so they are placeholders and mechanics in the final game may change

Is the PGUCDM3 worth double the price of 3rd Gen QD-OLEDs?

I can get the MSI 321URX (4K240Hz) for $750 and the UCDM3 is currently only sale for $1500 where I’m at.

I’m wondering if the new one is really worth double the money, has anyone recently switched from 3rd Gen QD-OLED to the new 5th Gen panels?

Is the MSI 321URX (4K 240Hz QD-OLED) still a good buy in 2026?

Not a lot of good 4K OLED monitors available at decent prices in my country but this one is going for $700 right now so I thought I’d ask.

The ASUS ones and the LG dual modes are well above $1.2k here so seems like not a good deal compared to this.

I already have a 1440p 360Hz OLED but wanted a 4K screen for singleplayer games and media consumption.

AC Hexe details and dialogue leaked by Rogue (Ubisoft leaker), says Ezio is returning

  • Protagnist’s name is Anika, Elsa is a placeholder name like Jora was for Eivor, according to j0nathan
  • "Anika/Elsa is a descendant of Claudia Auditore”
  • Wurzburg is set to be the primary location but there will be other locations to explore
  • Ezio is 100% returning, Anika/Elsa says, “That white hood, it’s like the one in my mother’s drawings” and there is dialogue from Ezio saying “She wanted you to have a life”
  • More Ezio voicelines saying, "Come. Leap with me. One last time for an old man.” and “They always fear what they cannot control. They called us demons once, too. But remember, Elsa: 'Nulla è reale, tutto è lecito.”
  • Ezio will either potentially show up in person or as some Isu artifact ghost or flashbacks
  • More Anika/Elsa dialogue: “They call me a witch. They want to burn me for what I can do. For what I know.”

So I bought a pre-owned Astrobot copy from them for my PS5. After platinuming the game in 3 days I thought I would return it alongside my new Saros copy which I was done playing with as well.

Now they tell me the Astrobot disc has scratches on it even though they were totally fine giving me the same exact copy a few days ago. They said they will only take the Saros disc and return Astrobot back to me.

I played Saros after Astrobot and that disc has no scratches yet they're blaming that my PS5 disc reader must've only scratched Astrobot. The game works fine as well, not like the disc is unreadable.

Be warned, these guys will blame you for passing on their shitty discs back to them
