My 16gb rx 9070xt is one hell of a monster. I immediately saw a performance jump of 2.5x to 3x over my 2year old rtx 3060 12gb. Flipkart listed the shappire pulse rx 9070xt for 64k and with 3k sbi cc discount, I immediately got it for 61k.
The rx 9070xt is huge and it actually comes with a metal anti-sag bracket. Used a little juggad, pulled out the pins on the bottom cabinet fans and let the support bracket rest on the rim of the fans.
I made my first build in Jan 2020 with the gtx 1660ti and in 2024 I got the rtx 3060 12gb after the 1660ti went bad. But within 2yrs I saw a good deal and upgraded. I bought this new pc in aug 2025 just before the ram and ssd prices shot up and I couldnt be happier.
PC specs:
Will be getting a msi Ultrawide 34inch monitor to complete my new build.
Hello gamers. Just wanted to know what location in viceo games make you feel like you're at home and comfortable?
Games Tested: Forza horizon, Forza Motorsport, Man Of Medan, Hollow Knight, Silksong, Deadcells, Fifa 17, Battlefield 6, Spider-Man Remastered, Brawlhalla and some more.
Platform Used: Windows, Android, IOS and Linux
This is a long term review of the aforementioned controller.
You get the Controller, some paperwork, a matching Dongle and a matching type-c cable as well.
Fairly smaller and more handy compared to other xbox styled controller. Some might like, some might not. I have hands on the larger size but i still like it since it sits quite snug.
The Sides are a lot more straight compared to the angled design of xbox controller.
Its quite comfy none the less, there is Textured back on which your palm can rest so even on long sessions it wont slip out.
The whole body is mostly made of plastic like every other controller.
But the seams are noticeable, and over time gunk might settle there, and since its a light coloured controller, it will be quite noticeable.
The buttons are quite clicky and tactile. Only gripe being the Dpad has quite some play to it and you might not like it. But not the end of the world.
Alongside the usual shoulder buttons and triggers, there’s an additional programmable shoulder button on each side.
The Hall Effect triggers unfortunately have a fairly noticeable deadzone. You need roughly 30% trigger travel before inputs start registering. They are Playstation Style triggers.
There are 2 Extra Macro buttons on the front which you can setup ( really helpful for combos and such). I will link one more reddit post for help with configuring the controller (https://www.reddit.com/r/Controller/comments/1hu5faa/guide_for_8bitdo_ultimate_2c_wireless_controller/)
The Analog sticks are Hall Effect And are very accurate. Theres a 0 Deadzone mode for even more accuracy. They are protruding slightly less compared to other controllers. So they feel quite snappy.
They have medium tension. Quite Precise and smooth to use.
No stick drift so far after 6 months.
Im personally quite happy with the buttons.
Tri-Mode Connectivity does come really handy.
( PS: This controller doesnt connect to XBOX or Playstation)
there is a colour matching USB-A dongle in the box. only while using dongle will you get the advertised 1000hz polling rate, which i did get.
( Though tbh unlike a mouse where i do feel a difference between 125hz and 1000hz, it wasnt as noticeable here).
By pressing the toggle at the back of the controller you can switch to bluetooth mode. Which does connects to Pc and Mobile. but on PC it will only connect with Dinput with bluetooth. and not Xinput for some reason.
On mobile it works flawlessly ( Both IOS and Android).
Works just as well. Nothing much to speak about here, it just works.
And to the 2 linux users ( it does connect to linux as well, as i have tried myself ;) )
Definitely one of my gripes, its quite a barebones software and is only to be used for updating the controller and the dongle.
Doesnt even let you reduce the polling rate from 1000hz to 125hz on dongle even if you want to preserve battery.
Honestly have been getting really great battery life. Can last anywhere from 10-20 hours of use.
And it Charges pretty fast at most in an hour with a type c cable.
One of the places i think this controller takes an L.
its not Bad by any means but at similar price range some other controllers might have better feedback.
The vibration feels fairly generic and lacks the depth/intensity of an Xbox controller.
Becuase its 1000hz, theres virtually no Latency.
Even in Bluetooth mode, latency wasn’t noticeable during normal gameplay.
After 6 months, the sticks still feel tight and I haven’t noticed any drift issues.
Buttons also still feel tactile with no major wear so far.
After 6 months, I still think this is one of the better value-for-money controllers if you mainly play on PC/mobile and want Hall Effect sticks without spending a lot.
It definitely has compromises, especially vibration quality and software, but overall I’ve been pretty happy with it.
Ask me any questions if youre curious :D
| Metric | India | United States |
|---|---|---|
| Median Monthly Salary | ₹25,000 | $5,000 |
| Game Price | ₹10,000 | $120 |
| Cost as % of Salary | 40% | 2.4% |
If the currency value was still like it was in 2005 (around ₹40 per dollar), the game would have cost us only ₹4,800. Instead, we are paying more than double that. It is really sad and frustrating to see prices keep going up, making it harder for common people to afford these games.
Regional pricing somewhat saved many games. But still big AAA games cost ₹2000+ even with regional pricing.
Saving this much money to buy this Beauty with gigabyte 5080 and ryzen 7 9800x3d ddr5 ram 32 gb and 2 tb storage

Once you start playing with monitor even it is 60 hz , you won't able to enjoy the game as before in laptop
Bought this from South Korea for 78k. Felt like a steal deal honestly considering its for 140k here.
Amazon suggested me this today and only 1 left in stock, found it pretty funny sony selling this now. Must be something to do with the seller I guess as I know these were discontinued and only available used now. Or a move for their next handheld console as rumours says we don't know. What's yours opinion?
So i have a Asus ROG strix G17 laptop, and i want to clean and replace the paste/pads.
The cpu has the liquid metal thing but not a lot of it is left on it, so i plan to add a lil bit after cleaning around it. Suggest which liquid metal to buy.
For the GPU i am confused in using a High end paste like TG kyronaut or PTM7950 pad. Do tell whats best. Also if u can link good ptm7950 pls.
I am unsure about the blue stuff around, weather it is thermal putty or just thermal pads. Do let me know what to apply in its place.
If possible i have a budget of like 2k ish for this 😅 can increase a bit if better quality product demands.
I was cleaning my kb with tooth brush. The key came off along with the clips that hold the key in place and the rubber dome. I called asus service center and they are charging 10k for new keyboard, and said only cannot be replaced.
I live in Faridabad, so if anyone has an idea of where should I go please respond.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. don’t ask how anyone could break, but I’m that anyone 😂
