Ketty Lester - Love Letters

Ketty Lester - Love Letters in mono. I have been after this album on vinyl for years. I finally found a lovely pressing on Discogs. This album is perfect for those sad and lonely evenings with a glass of wine or equivalent. Anyone who has seen the David Lynch film Blue Velvet will definitely recognise the song Love Letters. Absolutely beautiful album.

For some reason my photo of the brown box set keeps being removed! Why?

I finally have physical copies of Ween albums. They were always hard to find and stupidly expensive to buy here in the UK. Now I have a 10 CD box set for £50! It's going to be a very brown day today!

Almost every night I have dreams that I am pooping or peeing on things, or in to things that should not be pooped on or peed in to. Usually objects like drawers, books, chairs, boxes, TV sets, rugs. Nearly every time the poop gets stuck between my bum cheeks and I have to pull it out and it goes everywhere. Is this a normal dream for most people or am I losing it big time!? Would Sigmund Freud have a field day with my mind?

I am throwing this out there. I personally see a distinct similarity. The Beatles came around and nothing before sounded like them and most bands afterwards tried to sound like them. Twin Peaks appeared and changed TV forever and most shows afterwards tried to emulate it. They are both still around and as prescient and influential as ever. Does anybody else agree with this? Let me know 😄

Avid British tea drinker here. Quick question. Does anybody else have a visceral reaction when they see someone putting milk in with the teabag before they've added the hot water? I feel unnecessary rage when I see it happening! Milk goes in last and there can be no exceptions!

I got this for £3 in a charity shop in Ilkley the other day. I dropped it on the charity shop floor after I bought it, but it didn't shatter everywhere. It works perfectly fine. I was so lucky!

Has anybody else on here heard of the Canadian duo You'll Never Get To Heaven? Their music is very enigmatic and blissed out. It's like Cocteau Twins mixed with the Twin Peaks soundtrack, but even more hazy and smeared with lots of reverb, delays, tape distortion and hiss. I heavily recommend their 2017 album, Images. Good luck trying to find physical releases of their music though. It's very rare and expensive!

Am I alone on this.? Is this album really heavy but also very catchy and accessible? I can't stop listening to it. It's like pop death metal. I fucking love it!!
