My SO had a child from a previous relationship that went very sour and she fled when the child was very young and changed both their legal names due to the nature of the offences he was charged with (sexual).

Fast forward 4 years and we are engaged and I have raised the child as my own for three years. In light of this my SO still has concerns that one day the man might locate them and attempt to take custody or get visitation with the child and because of this her life is quite recluse (no socials, photos).

She thinks that if he tracks them down he can demand a paternity test and gain some rights over the child and the decision making.

Because he is not on the birth certificate.

A) is this possible to demand a paternity test 4 years later?

B) Could me adopting the child block this or help in anyway?

C) Is there anything else I could do to offer her more security?

Home to 8 species in cluding Kuhli loaches, Cherry shrimp, Strawberry Rasbora and a number of others.

It might not be everyone's cup of tea but we love the overgrown style and the lack of water changes makes my life easier.

He eats like there won't be another meal in his life and then spends the rest of the day waddling around.
