Currently have a Hamilton Murph 38MM with a bracelet, and I would like to have a strap option. Looking at maybe a leather or sailcloth strap. Based of what I’ve seen here is that the OEM strap takes forever to break in, but if that is misinformation, please let me know what the best options are to consider. Thanks in advance!
I’ve had this quarts watch for roughly 10 years and stopped wearing it when I got an Apple Watch. Now I’m building up my collection, replacing batteries, changing straps and just enjoying watches that don’t annoy me of notifications. Any suggestions for future watches?

I’ve had this Duro for a long time I never knew there was such a following. I used to call it my Marlin watch, boy was I wrong. I stopped wearing it due to the scrape on the crystal and the scratch on the bezel. Yes I know it is a beater watch, but after finding the sub Reddit, I decided to order a sapphire crystal along with a few tools. I’m a fan of the Bond sea master, any suggestions on future mods?
Out camping by the beach here in Hawaii. Got lil man sleeping on me in the hammock. Just vibing and looking at everyone’s time pieces on Reddit. What’s everyone’s choice of a camping or day at the beach watch? Finally decided on my first Bulova for my collection. Gotta get it sized up for me when the watch smith gets back. Early Father’s Day present so I’m not really in a rush to wear it, but I’m very stoked to have it finally.
Well, I finally upgraded my storage setup. I wanted just a display tray but finding them in the correct measurements to fit inside my bigger box wasn’t easy. Now I gotta make room for the inbound Hamilton Murph.
I mostly only own Seiko and cheap Casios but now I’m branching out. This is becoming a very addicting hobby. I try to rationalize why I get certain ones, like a dress, a beater, yada yada, but I already have more watches than I want and I can’t really sell certain ones even if they serve the same purpose as another. So I just focusing on finding a vintage watch and my retirement watch. Not sure one what vintage to get but I’m looking at the Omega AT for retirement.
P.S. Yes I know the display isn’t that great. I couldn’t find a tray that fits my current storage setup and I don’t want boxes for storage.
Went ahead and bought a leather strap for my Panda. I really dig it. It’s nice to have options. Anyone use FKM or Sailcloth straps on these??
Look I know some don’t like Swatches but my best friend and I got matching Missions On Earth. I just don’t care for the hook and loop tape strap. How do we feel about leather? I got 3 leather straps, let me know what you all think or suggest. Thanks in advance!
Just received my first real dress watch. After a lot of research trying to figure out which watch to get and since I don’t need to wear it often. I decided to go with something Simple and Swiss. The Tissot Chemin des Tourelles 39mm on my 7” wrist. Forgot to set the watch before taking the photo, but you get the gist.
