LPT: If you see someone fall on an escalator, there will always be shut off buttons located at both the top and bottom by the hand rails.

I just experienced a situation where I saw an older gentleman fall on an escalator. Everybody immediately nearby panicked and watched or tried walking up the moving escalator in an attempt to help the gentleman up.

I ran over and hit the shut off button located on the bottom of the escalator by the right hand rail as fast as I could. Thankfully the older gentleman was okay, but suffered minor scratches on his arm, hand, and back.

It's important to know that shut off buttons are not universally on the right, but they are REQUIRED to be somewhere easily accessible on both the top and bottom, usually found somewhere near the handrail.

UPDATE VIDEO: Taste of Italy, owner assault allegations

Here’s the update from the owner who recently had the video released on The Brutally Honest Lehigh Valley Food page over on Facebook

Owner of Taste of Italy, Hellertown, allegedly assault’s customer

Anybody else know anything about this?! I’m just hearing about it now. My wife and I planned on going here for the first time, but if this is true they’ll never get our business now.

Cropped photos to protect identities.

UPDATE:

THE LADY APPEARS TO BE THE AGGRESSOR!! Video of the incident was released on The Brutally Honest Lehigh Valley Food Page over on Facebook. Video shoes the owner, Joe, walking back to go inside of the restaurant when the lady shoves him. They stand there for a few moments, having what appears to be a heated argument. The lady then tries to walk around Joe to go back inside the restaurant, he stands in the way blocking access. It looks like Joe answers his phone (or calls 911), and goes to walk inside the business. The lady attempts to follow him inside and he turns around to nudge her back out. The lady then throws a fist, and the video cuts there.

I posted an update with the video to this sub:

Never really got into One Piece as a kid. Now as an adult, I don’t have as much time to watch. But I do read manga!

I’ve been reading One Piece for the last year, experiencing it all for the first time. I’m about to start chapter 1122. Only 59 chapters to go and then I’ll be waiting every week for a new chapter :( no more binging for me.

I did start watching, but I’m still only on season 1 ;) (E139)

I really have enjoyed this run so far! I can’t wait to get to watch all of this.

I can't help but to feel like we're supposed to forget about Martin, but I really want to know more about him. How was he captured and how long has he really been there? Who/what cursed him? What about the Music box monster? Will the blood worms ever make a comeback? Martin seemed to know what he was doing when he passed the curse onto Boyd, was he doing this just so he could finally end his suffering or was he trying to pass on some kind of critical knowledge that would eventually lead Boyd to discover the monsters "never-ending" lifecycle?

I just feel like too much happened during and after this encounter just for Boyd to pass on the blood worms and for us to forget all about it. There's gotta be more lore to this.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Every assassination attempt is always going to be nothing more than a "hoax" to these people. They refuse to open their eyes and realize that their extremism and conduct is only going to result in more assassination attempts against a sitting president.

These people are feral. They somehow endorse this behavior while also calling it a "hoax".
