Some of you may remember a while back I posted about the Allentown Crime Map I built (here). I was honestly kind of shocked by how well that was received — way more people started using it daily than I ever expected, and the feedback meant a lot to me.

The one thing I kept hearing over and over though was "can you add Bethlehem?" or "what about Easton?" or just generally "can you do this for the whole valley?" So I put my head down for a while and got to work.

I'm excited to finally share LVCrimeMap.com — a live Police, Fire & EMS dispatch map covering all of Lehigh and Northampton County. Every call that comes in gets pinned on the map with a description of what's happening, and you can also pull up the actual audio from the dispatch call along with a transcript.

It's still a work in progress and there are definitely some rough edges, so if you run into any bugs please let me know and don't give up on it — I'm pushing updates constantly and turn things around fast.

Important: For mobile users — the web version isn't great on phones yet, but there's a free iOS app if you want the full experience. Android is in the works and should be ready within the next week or so.

Would love to hear how people end up using it, and as always, positive or negative feedback is welcome. That's genuinely what helped shape this version in the first place.

Hi, was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for learning about gardening and the native plants of lehigh valley. I love butterfly gardening. Any suggestions of inexpensive clubs or free online communities would be awesome. I have small area to plant and am interested in what grows well here. It would be cool to connect and learn more from other LV peeps. Thanks :)

Hi, i'm 18f and really struggling to find an anywhere hiring rn... i've been working since 14 and have never had an issue finding a job before. I'm in the Emmaus area. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would be very grateful!

I know of a woman who escaped an abusive situation in another state by moving here. She was able to stay with her grandmother. Now her Grandmother has to move out of her current residence. She won’t be able to move with her and now she is facing either homelessness or having to return to her abusive ex. Are there any services available to help?

Looking for a vet that will hold animals over night near Bethlehem if medically necessary and not push you to an er after 5 or 6.

I am a Reiki Master, IIIA. I have not practiced in a very long time; my cert was in 2009.

I hope to start classes as a Death Doula in June, and would like to offer Reiki as simply something to help alleviate any suffering, pain or fear to those transitioning or to their loved ones if requested.

Is there anyone who knows if this is necessary, and if so, who I might contact to RE-UP? my reiki ability, if needed?
