For those who played Lineage 2 back in the day

I recently started playing as an Elven Mystic on Lu4. Basically the classic version, just running on a newer UE4 engine.

I've been playing almost without guides but maybe asking strangers in game couple of question in chat but now I'm stuck.

Theres one thing bothering me: what do you do about mana regeneration? Especially at levels 10-20? After every 3-4 mobs I have to sit and wait for mana to recover. Are there other ways to handle this, or is that just how it is?

The first game of this genre I played was Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

Here the thing: if not for cheats I would've dropped it within the first hour. I used Plitch to slightly increase my view radius and occasionally gave myself a few extra resources.

I know that's not the honest way to learn a game, but Id heard from friends how popular this genre is and that Heroes 3 is really interesting. When I asked about what to play I got recomended OE. Without any background in strategy games like this the experience feels very heavy

I figure it'll take at least another couple of weeks before I can confidently play without cheats.

Down with the Ship, shipbuilding PvP kinda roguelike

Find on steam game called Down with the Ship. Build ships, fight other's players ships, gain money to buy more parts. Not much games like this so wanna share.

Its in EA but already a lot of stuff there, different captains give different buffs. Fun stuff worth trying. Not really spacesim more like building perfect combination of items so ship become too OP

I tried playing Lineage 2 after 20 years

When I was 15-16 yo, I played it briefly its basically my only vivid MMORPG memory. I even found a small group of friends there.

Recently I got some free time and I looked up how to play it again.

Found a server (or version?) called Lu4. As I understand it, it's a version running on the Unreal engine.

Played for a couple of hours, and damn the minimalist fantasy graphics still look beautiful today. Not sure how grindy or hard this version actually is. I came for nostalgia, and I got it lol

Also tree with tits lol

Cheats used to be developer tools, but players liked them so much they ended up in almost every game. But over time they either disappeared entirely or became unlockable rewards and not always easy ones to get.

For example: just get infinite ammo or infinite HP in a modern game? No, sorry please first unlock a special item by beating the game on HELL NIGHTMARE TERROR-ass difficulty.

I get it that developers have in mind certain image of the game. They want me to have proper experience. They want BALANCED EXPERIENCE.

Here's funny thing: I don't want it.

I want my own pace, I got life and work, and all this restrictive practices is just annoyance.

Yes, can install stuff like Plitch and havin basically all trainers for all games in one package. But still why I need to do that in first place? Where my impulse 101 cheats built-in?

I want games feel free againg. Cheats its not just easy mod, they can be tool to make replaying game more fun. Or accessibility tool.

I am playin solo so I feel like using cheats are kinda legit for me. I wont change damage numbers or using godmode but teleport is pretty useful for solo player.

I use cheats via Plitch, so there no trainers or dangerous apps.
How do you think about cheats for utility?

I am used to just typing shit in console but rn almost all games dont have a decent cheats built-in.

Right now only option is trainers and stuff like that. Not very handful and I am stick to using Plitch now. It helps with my singleplayer games. All the stuff are here: godmode, inf ammo etc.

But trend is dissapointing. Why even I need to download app? Why almost all game devs are restrict cheats in games? Even gta series are goes same way -- freedom of using cheats in old games are great and now you need to buy some stuff ingame just to have fun

This is my longest run lol
I got 8 out of 10 wins, almost completed the run but last 3 guys were too tuff

Basically this is very time consuming ship builder. You create some abomination and you fight with other players ships. Its about who create more OP build. Like full-on regeneration almost every turn or just way too powerful gun.

After almost 10 hrs I still find new items in shop, unlocking new stuff and new pilots. Perfect build builder. Its on Steam and got demo, I highly recommend you at least try it

I got into Slay the spire 2 bcs there is a lot of streamers play this game.

I liked build crafting and combat and I looking for similar projects that deliver on this part.
I already tried some games like Bloodgrounds and Down with the Ship.

Basically these games have very interesting build crafting and high risk for your run. I want that stuff in game, so please can you suggest me some?

Game is actually fun
And damn every run you get random parts so basically you can construct whatever ship you want lol

After every fight you got money and you can buy upgrades and rebuild the ship. I still didnt complete a run(you need 10 wins) cause other people ships have crazy builds. I like games that let you create op stuff from scratch

Trying game called Down with the Ship. Got baited by ship construction. After playing for some time I can say its kinda fun. You basically need to adapt and build new ship every run so its dont get boring. But it can be hard lol
