ok so im going to a concert with two of my buddies who dont know im trans, pretty sure my legal name shows up on etransfer and im going to have to either have them transfer to me, or me to them. anyone using TD (canada if that helps) know if you can bypass this and have preferred name show up? otherwise im gna have to do some weird etransfer 3rd party stuff with my girlfriend as an intermediate btwn them or insist on paying them back cash and theyll be like wtf

idk havent seen a single person get off the eng waitlist so expecting that it might just be full. any idea when rejections will come out, assuming june 1 is the deadline for offers to be accepted?

I'm from ottawa, and got into ubco eng a few months ago and assuming I dont get off the waitlist for ubcv will likely be attending the okanagan campus. basically just the title, any experiences are helpful im just excited to be near the mountains 🙂

ubcv eng has been my dream school and program for a while now, but after a year of stressing over universities im scared of not being good enough if i get off the waitlist. engineering specifically, everyone im seeing has 95+ averages for all the schools i was looking at and im out here with a 90-91. i know if i get off the waitlist it'll be because of my profile, and im terrified of the prospect of competing with 99ers for spots second year. im from ontario, so really i just want to live in bc and while i love engineering and am gnerally confident in my abilities i guess im just worried about being completely out of my depth in a new place with crazy smart people all around me that i have to compete with. i got into ubco a while ago and dont really have those fears given guaranteed choice for second year. tldr will be disappointed for failing at my dream if im forever waitlisted and guilty for maybe being releived, and terrified of the program if i get in. sorry for the tangent lol just wondered if other ppl r similarly scared of vancouver eng
