How Durable is Oled Really? Specially MO27Q28G plus others

I have nevwr owned an Oled! There got that out the way.

I am on debating om buying a GIGABYTE MO27Q28G. ($650 with tax and shipping)

Before I do can you convince me Oled is the right move. I am comming from a LG 27GL850-B. I really enjoyed my old monitor, it had good blacks, was bright, and seems very responsive. It was also the most expensive monitor I have ever bought at least until what might be now.

With the LG, I have just treated like, whatever. I wipe is with electronic wipe cleaners, dont really worry about how long the screen is on, or what is where on the screen for how long. My kids who are small put their hands on it no matter how much you say don't touch. So this on top of burn-in fear and panel lottery, I might be a bit hesitant to take the leap.

However, Oled seems to have the nicest images for gaming in story worlds, MMOs, etc.

So before I drop a large amount on a Oled is it right for me?

Can the community give me tips and care tricks?

Do and Don't?

MO27Q28G Or something else? Check out or No?

I think i decided on a monitor after increasing my budget, I have landed on mo27q28gr at $665.58 after taxes, warranty, and all. Should hit check out or is their a better monitor at a better price? I've never owned an Oled and they scare me a bit because of Burnin and things but after looking at so many images and more I want to have thay pretty picture the Oled guystgals get.

Finding The Right Monitor

Simple question of how do you go about finding the right monitor for yourself?

I have been spending the last few days of reseaeching monitors, and the hardware that goes into them. Learning about everything from VA, IPS, and Oled Panels. The sub layer of MiniLED, that can help enhance the main layers. Resolutions and their recommends hits of 24" @ 1080p, 27" @ 1440p, and 32" @ 4k until you get to ultrawide. The HDRs of 400, 600, 1000, and up. Refresh rates and not to chase the dragon to far because of diminishing returns. The right type of visual ports HDMI 2.1 and Display 1.4. Oh and all the features from PiP/PbP, SmartOS, USB ports, Etc.

Obviously alot of this has to take into account the hardware your PC has, your budget, game types, room lighting, and more

It almost makes me want to pull my hair out with how much digging I have done into something I use to just pick one online and order.

I guess I am researching and struggling so hard cause I finally build a computer of my dreams last May and have save a little money again to get a new monitor to take advantage of said PC/Hardware.

I'm hoping the master race here can help.

I am running a 9800x3D/5700 Ti combo. I majority of the time play multiplayer games with my 3 friends. Things like survival games, 3rd person shooters MMORPGs:

WoW

HELLDIVERS 2

Star Citizen

Fortnite

Darktide

Diablo 4

REPO

Phasmophobia

Conan Exile

ARK (either of the two)

Through the research I feel I have narrowed down a few things I like. I also have quickly realized monitors are really hit and miss with reviews.

It seems the consensus of the best is, or at least what I like and would want:

Either 27" @ 1440p or 4k or 32" @ 4k

IPS MiniLED or TANDEM OLed (Oled - Burnin Scarea me with the number of games I play that have static HUDs)

140hz - 240hz (160hz seems to be the sweet spot)

Finally things like PiP/PBP, KVM would be nice for work laptop or hell a firestick to through cartoons on for kids if they insist on sitting with me.

I see plenty of Brands that offer decent price with feature but they are unknown to me like Titan Army and KTC. I know brands like Gigabyte, LG, Samsung, Asus, Acer, Benq (just learned they make Monitor not just projectors)

The ones I have caught my eye on so far

Gigabyte M27UP

Gigabyte M32UP

LG 27GX700A-B (truthfully out of order top of my budget)

Samsung (few here have my eye)

titan army p275ms+ (I don't know any about producer)

KtC M27P6 (Another unknown producer atheist to me)

AOC Q27G3XMN

XV275U F3biipprx (seems fishy? Not alot of info on this one)

At the end of the day I want a good bang for my buck with a budget of about $400 maybe more or less would be better. I am I guess looking for the best image first, then refresh, and the extra little feature would be nice. As i said I know Oled would probably give me the best image but with kids and the games i.mostly play I fear burn in hence leaning more to IPS w/ miniLED.

How do you decide? Any recommendations or just tell straight out what to buy.

I want to be immersed in my games, I want to see the games at their true beauty. Let's me experience my survival/sim games like never before.

$500 budget: Do you go 32" 4K or 27" 1440p? (The choice determines my layout)

I am trying to finialize my new monitor choice, for my 9800x3D / 5070 Ti setup, with a budget of about $400. Cheaper is always better if I can get a good bang for buck. The ideal use for the monitor is gaming, running my stream, ocasional VoD edit, and watching cartoons/anime with the kids.

Option 1: The 32" 4k

+ The Layout: 32" Center Main (New Monitor), 28" 4k Asus horizontal on top (centered), 27" 1440p Lg Vertical.on left side

Option 2: The 27" 1440p

+ The Layout: New 27" center, 27" 1440p LG horizontal stacked ontop, 28" 4k Asus vertical on left side

Priority:

IPS

G-Sync

Cool Features to play with:

PiP/PbP (for gaming and having anime on same monitor)

Speaker (majnly for when kids sit with me while I game)

Thia is where I have landed after a few days of reseaeching sizes, resolutions, and more. I will say I do entertain the idea of a 34" but fear games that dont support Ultrawide. I play alot of multiplayer games such aas , WoW, Star Citizen, Helldivers 2, BF6, REPO, Conan Exile, Diablor 4, Smite, and alot of Early acess / DEMOs.

34" Flat for Gaming and Anime

Can anyone recommend me a 34" Flat Ultrawide for gaming and watching anime on. This will be taking the place of my main monitor to got with my two 27". Mounted one in left and one above. Currently using ASUS VP28UQG and LG 27GL850-B. 1440p/2k is where I am aiming resolution wise.
