Which games are we hoping for in the Series 4 filming?

Now that Series 3 is over, I’ve been thinking about what they might bring back for the Sheffield filming this summer. I loved seeing Pyramid return this year, but I’m still hoping for Pendulum or Skytrak next. Nitro or Fury would be absolute beasts on those. Any old-school events you think would actually work well with the current set-up?

Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation at Westminster Abbey, 1953

Still fascinating how this became one of the defining television moments of post-war Britain.

Why does the “GP sent it” vs “we haven’t got it” lag still happen?

Genuinely curious from a pharmacy perspective why EPS still seems so hit-and-miss sometimes. Patients are constantly being told by the GP that the prescription has been sent, but then the pharmacy can’t actually see it yet, which turns into loads of back-and-forth frustration for everyone involved. Is the delay usually caused by the NHS Spine itself, or is it more to do with prescriptions not being digitally signed/released straight away? Feels like it happens way too often considering how much everything relies on EPS now.

Best mid-range tyres for a Grandland in this weather?

I’m due a new set of front tyres and I’m trying to move away from the budget ones the previous owner put on. I want something that handles the May rain a bit better but doesn't cost a fortune. Has anyone had good luck with Mid-range brands like Kumho or Hankook on their Vauxhalls, or should I just bite the bullet and go for Michelins?

AI-related job postings in the UK are apparently way higher now than they were before the pandemic, even while hiring in a lot of other sectors has slowed down. Do people think this is genuinely helping UK startups move faster and innovate more, or is it just making it even harder for smaller companies to compete for talent against bigger firms?

I recently tried going to my local pharmacy for a sore throat when I couldn’t get a GP appointment until next week. They saw me in a consultation room and dealt with it pretty quickly. Is this becoming the norm now? I hadn’t realised how much could be done without needing a GP first. Just wondering if others have used it, or if it varies depending on the pharmacy.

What I find interesting is how their dynamic still shapes things even years later. It’s not just about one era anymore, it keeps echoing through the show. Do you think it adds to the story or is it starting to feel overused?

I’m planning to head down to FarGo Village this weekend. I know they’re always doing something, whether it's the creative markets, live music, or those food pop-ups but I haven't seen a specific schedule for this Sunday/Monday yet. Does anyone know if there’s a particular theme for the market this time? Or any live shows at The Box that are worth catching? I’m hoping to grab some street food and just spend a few hours down there if the weather holds up.

A friend of mine is thinking about starting something on the side in e-commerce and funding it themselves, but not sure how realistic that is at the moment. Costs seem quite high right now and competition feels tough as well. At the same time, they like the idea of growing slowly and keeping full control instead of taking funding early. Anyone here doing this recently in the UK? How’s it been going?

I've just taken an old folding ironing board from my gran’s house and noticed the "rest" area has a thick, greyish-white pad for the iron to sit on. The house was built in 1965 and this thing looks original. I know asbestos was used in oven gloves and textiles back then, but is it common to find it in ironing board pads too? It’s started to fray at the edges so I’m a bit cautious about using it now.

Found this pic I took a couple of months back on Priory Row. It’s definitely one of the nicer views we’ve got and it honestly doesn’t even feel like you’re in the middle of the city when you’re standing there. .I’d love to see what this street looked like years ago. Has anyone got any old photos of this area?

The standard hub from my ISP isn’t cutting it anymore, it basically drops off as soon as I’m in the back bedrooms. I’m in a typical 2-bed semi with fairly thick walls, on ~200–300Mbps fibre. Looking for a mesh setup that actually gives decent speeds throughout the house without spending a fortune. What you guys are using usually that works well?
