Hi all, I’ve been thinking about getting/building a PC on and off for a bit now and just wanted to run a question past you about how much I should spend. For context: I have a PS5, so I have almost no desire to play the latest AAA games on a theoretical PC (because of that). Especially since the line between gaming PCs and consoles is so blurry, I would only really use a gaming PC to play AA/indie games, and some AAA mostly for mods and emulation. Is $1,000-1,500 Australian? a good amount or is it nowhere near enough?

P.S I wrote this before the ram-pocalypse so if it sounds naive it literally a pre fab question
