Dear God..

I have just finished binge-watching everything I could get my hands on for Evangelion and it now feels like there is a hole in my soul. But I have a few questions.

  1. Is the NGE ending connected to the rebuild series like a time loop or is it a "BAD" ending and Shinji and Aska are acting as an Adem and Even on tbe new world after the third impact leaving hell on earth.

  2. In the after credits of 1.11, 2.22, 3.33 there are clips that simply arnt in the movies like a half pink and mark 2 with a katana cutting enemys that just dosnt happen.

  3. Do I need to watch true (death)2 on this watch I was told it wasn't needed but then the rebuild movies had the big change in them.

What do you expect in the new Evangelion, by Yoko Taro.

I don't know if anyone has posted something like this before, but I was just asking.

I forget the people at Cartoon Network know ball

This is Craig of the creek for anyone curious (same episode has like four other anime references like guran lagan)

How powerful is really him

Remember this is likely beyverse Optimus which mean Angels in one moment are fighting a dead mother with anger issues and in other they're fighting 9 million years old military general with the habit of taking his enemies head apart from their bodies

Asuka and the "impenetrable wall of Jericho"

>!I was rewatching ep9 and noticed that Asuka calls the door "the impenetrable wall of Jericho" and tells Shinji not to cross it. The wall of Jericho is famously not "impenetrable" as it came down after people shouted at it. The wall of Jericho was brought down by words, the same wall that Asuka is implying stands between her and Shinji. In ep22 it is made even more obvious that she wanted Shinji to bring down the wall of Jericho. !<

Watched 1st episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion

So uh, wanna preface this by saying I have no clue what I'm getting into. The only thing I know about this is the opening song, shinji pose and pool of blood for some reason. That's all the context I have going into this franchise.

And?????? What the heckity heck was episode one.

My review:

  1. I don't like Shinji's father

  2. I don't like shinjis father

  3. I REALLY don't like Shinii's father

Like brother, isn't that your own son???? Even if you're kinda asking him to pilot a mech ans risk his life, ask him nicely???? He would probably do it! He seems like he's hungry for parental approval.

Also, bringing out the Rei girl kinda felt like a verrryyy overt and balant manipulation move. Also. Isn't Rei supposed to be some kind of rare pilot after Shinji, so why the heck when the pannels fell, did people just... Leave her to die by being crushed under debris. Like????? Protect the asset??? And shinji was the one pulling her—excuse me?? I get if you're dehumanizing children—cuz Rei is totally a kid, she looks like one (I dunno I'm one episode in) at least take care of your asset! What the heck were all those people doing?? Watching the show???

Also jesus Christ, someone call the CPS on that man.

Also, shhh Katsuragi, Shinji will cry if he wants to! Let him!

(I kinda wanna post all my thoughts after each episode so when I'm depressed—since this is apparently a depressing anime—I can come back and look at where I was wrong and cringe at it)

Peace out

Which version of the manga should i get? 2-in-1 or Collector's Edition?

I am part of the Eva community in Latin America, and i want to buy the manga, have a good bunch of money saved for it.

But, here's the problem:

i don't know wich version to get.

I thought about Norma's version of the Collectors edition(Castillan spanish) and the Panini one in a more neutral spanish. Sadly, both seem impossible to get in the city i live in and in the internet.

so i decided to test my luck with the English versions, and i have found both of them in the internet.

Which one is better?

2-in-1, or Collectors Edition?

i understand english perfectly, so reading it is not a problem, the only one is quality.

can you guys help me?

All 4 rebuilds complete on Japanese blu-rays!

I now recently acquired a Japanese Evangelion 3.0 + 1.11 blu-ray. (Plus it's the version with the 4k disc included! But no 4k blu-ray player tho :/) all thats left is to find a japanese 3.0 + 1.11 dvd to complete the rebuilds on both formats i love physical media. And doesn't enjoy subscribing to Amazon video/or watch Evangelion on Netflix (I have watched the original series too much times the subtitles are burnt into my mind) and now. What's next after both formats is to get the English blu-rays
