Mm gun ban buys

Hey all, sorry for what is probably a repetitive post. I'm fairly new to guns in general and have not purchased any shotguns yet. With mn doing dumb shit around gun laws, I'm trying to aquire those items which will possibly be unavailable.

I have been doing some looking regarding shotguns, looking for something suitable for home defense, robot dogs that check my social credit score, drones, that kind of thing. It seems there are a few variations between tube fed vs mag fed, semi vs pump amd length of barrel.

Currently eyeing a a300 as something that would provide quality and flexibility but want to see if there is anything I am missing.

I see some have the pistol style grip as opposed to the more traditional shotgun setup, any major advantages or disadvantages to either?

I know they want to ban mag fed shotguns which makes we want one.. are they decent or more of a novelty?

Barrel length for something like clays vs home defence? Can they be swapped out generally or just buy the whole gun for specific use?

Any information is welcome, thanks

Failure to feed on new build

Hey all, tested a new build today and near the end of my shooting I had 4 failure to feed all the same way.

Barrel is 11.5 criterion, bcm low pro .625 gas block, bcm mk2 mod 1 t2 buffer. Shooting federal black 55 grain.

I do see some copper on the feed ramps but I assume that's cause the bullet got slammed in there.

Edit, all mags were pmag gen 2 and 3. I got through probably 6 or 7 mags with no issue, I believe these all occured on the same mag, I did not have the foresight to mark that mag. I did reload 2 mags in the field, I do not know if this was one of them

Hey all, been trying to decide on a carry pistol for a hot second. Recently came across the m&p 2.0 and loved the way the metal version felt in my hand. I was thinking the 4" version for a ccw would work amd have been searching for a version in green with a thumb safety (i know that gets mixed emotions but it's something ide rather have and remove if needed) and it's been a tough find. Anyone know if it exists? Is the 4.0 too big to daily, should I be looking at the 3.6 harder? I am fairly new to this realm, where are the best places to buy in your opinion? Appreciate the help

▲ 2 r/AR9

Hey all, let me preface with i am very new to ARs and guns in general.. Recently decided I wanted to assert my rights and began putting sone stuff together and learning. I have a ar15 build that appears to be pretty complete but I have some questions on a path forward with a ar9.

What i know

-looking to build on 80percentlowers a9x lower reciever (ambi lrbho colt mags)

- have a huxwrx9k in the works i would like to utilize

-I am left handed, hate me i know but if it can be done to left hand eject, that would seem ideal for gas reasons at least

-I am planning for a short barrel, trying to make it quick and soft shooting. Something that will be fun to take out

Side charging seems like it would be sick but being lefty i would want that on the right side. Useless gimmick or actually worth incorporating? Looks badass

What i think I know?

-It sounds like a delayed system of some kind be ir roller buffer, radial, whatever would seem ideal for mitigating recoil and gasses.

-looked at matador arms upper and quite intrigued, don't think left eject would be an option that way

-can a regular ar15 left eject upper be used with 9mm for something like this?downside to that?

Any information or ideas is much appreciated!

Hey all. Been trying to piece together an ar9 build. Using a a9x 80 percent lower akd as a lefty was hoping for a left hand eject upper. Seems like that is impossible to find. I'm a bit concerned about gas from the right eject (have a hux9k supressor comming) and discovered the delayed system. Would running something like their delayed upper help further mitigate gas? Trying to build something fun and quick, minimal recoil lefty eject if it exists but these uppers seem like a decent option as well. Any info appreciated
