Is this the upgrade we have all wanted for our older Mat9 and Mat9k or is this only for the roller delayed platform?

It hasn’t been too long, it’s only been about 2 weeks, but I was just wondering how long KM3 usually takes to ship.

Does anyone know what the lead time is now? I've been eyeing a MAT9 upper for a while, but have held off because of the wait time horror stories. I see the "xxx weeks of lead time" banner on their website is gone. Does that mean the upper orders are ready to be shipped?

Shopping around moderate priced PCC's and that MAT-9 looked interesting to me, leaning towards the 8".

It looks like people used to use the "new frontier s9" lower for this, but they are no longer made.

1. Is there a good lower known to be highly compatible w/ the mat-9?
2. Do I just need a stripped lower or other parts? (new to guns)

Also any ideas on where to source anything Matador right now could be useful since no one seems to have anything in stock.

Thinking of getting another upper for this lower and was curious if anyone has a similar setup for me to get an idea of which brand works or has possible fitment issues,etc.

I had no idea about these wait times. I live in Virginia and I'm sure you guys are aware that we are about to lose our rights on July 1st. I saw the lead times of 4-6 weeks and figured that was probably them being conservative and it would arrive sooner than that. I placed my order for a lower on May 21st thinking that was plenty of time. I emailed that day to confirm it would make it in time and David replied and reassured me it definitely would and that hed still be sending uppers to VA after the ban. Perfect!! I called on may 22nd to see if someone else could confirm that it would be here in time and spoke with David (I assume the same David?) and he said it was about to go out that weekend. 2 weeks later and still nothing. I called again on June 8th and spoke with David, again, and he said mine was going out this week! Its now Friday and still nothing. I've been told constantly that its just about to be shipped and it never happens. I'm not made of money. I can't just buy everything I want before this ban goes into effect and now that's $500 that could have been put towards something else just sitting there tied up. Now that I'm seeing all these crazy wait times I realize I was strung on?? Why?? Just tell me its not happening. I went to cancel my order in hopes I could free up that money before the ban and you can't even cancel your order.

Sorry for the ramble. Ive placed a ticket and sent an email requesting to cancel and get a refund. Im sure it wont be a speedy process. Sucks. Definitely wont be buying from them in the future.

I love the look of the MAT9 & it’s an impressive PCC, and I want to support my fellow Texans but I have concerns of reliability and lead times.

The Stribog & Kuna appear to be pretty reliable at this point and come in about $300 less, while having normal shipping times.

Are these still real concerns with the MAT9? I can see their customer service is top notch but if I’m spending almost $1500 on a gun, I’d prefer to not have to sand the edges or send it in for rework.

Any real world experience that may help persuade me towards the MAT9?
