I was just using the disabled stall at a laundromat and almost fell on my ass because the toilet seat is not attached to the toilet whatsoever.

I reported to the attendant, but he put it back right on the toilet and didn't put an out of order sign on the stall.

This can't be ada compliant.

Your annoying co-worker who seems to think you two are good friends has asked you to help him move this weekend.

Suddenly, you two are magically teleported into the classic trolley meme. Your coworker is tied down on the lower tracks with 4 random people. The person on the top track is also someone you don't know. You hold these people's fates in your hands as the person who is at the switch.

If you keep the trolley on the bottom track, you never have to deal with your coworker again. If you reroute the trolley to the top track, you save 5 people. However, you will have to help your coworker move this weekend (non-negotiable), and he will think you two are best friends.

What is your decision?

I bought a 55" 1080p dumb TV from my drug addicted ex for $100 years ago. He became an addict after we split and was selling his personal stuff off for you know what. The display on it is very nice.

The sound went out on the TV yesterday. I thought it would be nice to get a 4k smart TV. The new TV looked significantly worse and refused to stay connected to the Internet no matter the source of Internet (home Wi-Fi, hotspot, etc). I 😭 over this TV 3 times before boxing it back up, putting back up my old TV, and returning the new TV. Yes, I fully updated the TV before boxing it back up.

When I looked stuff up, my old TV was considered high end and cost $2k when it came out. No wonder it looks better. When I returned the new TV, I bought a sound bar that has a subwoofer. It sounds exceptionally better than the TV itself did. I am happy again with my old TV and soundbar. I am back to using my streaming services through my Xbox.

I am aware that the system overall needs to be changed. However, I mentioned cops should be educated on mental health, deescalation, and physical disabilities. They are usually the first on scene. I get it won't get rid of inherent maliciousness, but I feel it would improve situations because police are a group that don't understand the needs of many of the people they are supposed to serve.

I was yeeted and called a racist queerphobe. What is the point of pretending you welcome a community you don't?

im a freshman living in one of the triple rooms with a bunk bed and my roommate will not stop whacking off. I guess he doesn't realize I'm a light sleeper and I can literally feel the entire bedframe creaking around for 10 minutes every night, and the little tinny porn audio from his phone speaker (he seems to think that if he has it on the lowest volume we won't be able to hear). on top of that he doesn't actually clean up he just ejacs into his boxers and his weighted blanket just reeks of semen constantly. it fills the whole room, but he's so used to it that he doesn't realize. This is every single day, I've been tallying it on the wall with a glitter gel pen that this frigid bitch from my hometown gave me before she went to boston university. I was hoping he'd notice the tally marks and it would be a subtle reminder for him, but I don't think he has. I guess he just walks around in a raging concupiscent fog all day. I can't really tell the 3rd guy since he's an international student from Sri Lanka and his English is so perfect that it creeps me out. It's like talking to chatgpt and I have no clue what he would say if I broached the subject of masturbation. also bringing it up now would be weird since it'd imply I was happily tolerating the nightly thrashing above my bed for several months. so I really need someone to tell me how to get this across. I've been staying out of the dorm for as long as possible but he seems to have some sort of circadian estrus period where he can only jack off after I've gotten settled in to sleep. please just help me.

The acronym stands for schizoid personality disorder. It isn't the same thing as schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. It doesn't cause psychosis (like delusions or hallucinations).

It is a large reason I am apothiplatonic, asexual, demiromantic, and asocial

AMA. I may not get to all questions right away because I have other things I need to do throughout the day.
