parang mali pa rin tingin ng iba?

Parang itong sunset lang.
Sobrang ganda niya sa personal. Tahimik. Warm. Nakakapagpahinga ng isip. Pero dahil sa dami ng kable at harang, parang hindi mo ma-appreciate nang buo.

Minsan ganun din tayo no?
Kahit anong effort mo maging mabuti
Kahit anong ayos mo ng intensyon mo
May makikita at makikita pa ring mali yung iba.
Kapag tumulong ka, may sasabihin.
Kapag nanahimik ka, may issue pa rin.
Kapag nag-effort ka, parang kulang.
Kapag napagod ka, ikaw pa masama.

Nakakapagod minsan maging understanding sa mundo na parang laging naghahanap ng mali sayo.

Pero siguro tulad ng sunset… hindi nababawasan yung ganda niya dahil lang maraming harang sa paligid.

Baka hindi lang talaga lahat marunong tumingin beyond the wires.

Ang ganda ng sunset no? Parang paalala na kahit anong nangyari today, may ending din lahat.

May mga araw na sobrang bigat. May mga bagay na hindi nag-work out, plans na hindi natuloy, or moments na napaisip ka kung tama pa ba yung ginagawa mo. Pero habang lumulubog yung araw, parang sinasabi niya na okay lang… pahinga muna.
Hindi ibig sabihin na tapos na. Ibig sabihin lang, tapos na yung today.

At bukas, may panibagong chance ulit.
Chance para bumawi
Chance para mag-try ulit
Chance para ayusin yung hindi naging okay

Minsan hindi mo kailangan ng malaking sign para magpatuloy. Minsan sapat na yung simpleng reminder na kahit lumubog ang araw, siguradong sisikat ulit.

Kapit lang. May darating pang liwanag.

May mga gabi dati na wala tayong iniisip kundi tumingin sa langit. Tahimik. Payapa. Nakahiga sa bubong, sa labas, o kahit nakasilip lang sa bintana… tapos andun yung buwan.

Hindi pa complicated ang buhay noon. Hindi pa tayo pagod sa trabaho, sa responsibilidad, sa expectations. Simpleng tingin lang sa buwan, okay na. Parang may kausap ka na kahit hindi sumasagot.

Naalala mo pa ba yung mga gabing ganun?
Yung tipong ang dami mong pangarap, ang gaan ng pakiramdam, at parang ang layo pa ng problema sa’yo. Yung buwan, saksi sa lahat ng yun. Sa kwentuhan, sa tahimik na moments, sa mga panahong hindi mo pa kailangan magpanggap na strong.
Ngayon, nandito pa rin siya. Same moon. Same glow. Pero tayo, ang dami nang nagbago.

Minsan, kailangan lang natin tumigil sandali… at balikan kung sino tayo dati.

Kasi baka sa ilalim ng parehong buwan, nandun pa rin yung version natin na mas simple, mas totoo, at mas payapa.

Akala ko magandang idea mag-hire ng kaibigan. You know, may tiwala ka na agad, may comfort level na, and feeling mo mas magiging smooth yung trabaho. Pero turns out, minsan yun pa yung pinaka-risky move.

I hired this friend hoping na magiging solid addition siya sa team. Sa simula okay pa eh. Pero habang tumatagal, dun na lumabas yung pinaka-problem: attendance.

Late. Absent. Minsan hindi nag-uupdate. Minsan biglang nawawala. Yung tipong ikaw na yung nahihiya sa client or sa team kasi ikaw yung sumasalo ng trabaho niya. Instead na makatulong, nagiging dagdag workload pa.

Pinaka mahirap pa dito, kaibigan mo. So ang hirap i-balance kung paano mo siya i-call out. Gusto mong maging professional, pero at the same time ayaw mo naman masira yung friendship. Pero habang pinapabayaan mo, ikaw naman yung nasstress.
I tried to understand. Gave chances. Adjusted expectations. Kinausap ko rin siya multiple times. Akala ko maaayos pa.
Pero today, bigla nalang nag-resign. As in immediate.
Walang proper transition. Walang heads up. Wala man lang consideration sa impact sa team.

Honestly, hindi ako nagulat na nag-resign siya. Pero yung paraan? Dun ako napaisip.

Nakaka-frustrate lang na you gave trust, you gave opportunity, tapos ang balik sayo stress and inconvenience. Parang ikaw pa yung nag-adjust ng todo, pero in the end ikaw pa rin yung maiiwan mag-aayos ng lahat.

Lesson learned the hard way:
Hiring friends can work… pero kung hindi aligned sa work ethic, discipline, at responsibility, kahit gaano pa kayo ka-close, hindi talaga magwo-work.

Now I’m left here fixing everything again.

Anyone else experienced this? Paano nyo hinandle yung ganitong situation without completely ruining the friendship?

So I posted earlier about Paypal to Maya issue. I processed the transfer at 9am but did not receive the fund even it appears on the transaction history. I immediately contacted both Maya and Paypal to report and was asked to wait 24-48hrs by Maya and 5hrd by Paypal.

It did reflect at 9pm. That is 12hrs after I processed the transfer.

I suggest, if you encounter the same problem, is for you to report it to Maya and Paypal and wait at least 12 hrs.

We will not be able to do anything but to wait…. and pray.

Don’t overthink! Matatransfer din sya. Hehe. Kape na!
