Is that stereo sound is actually stereo sound. For example, when I used to watch something that was in 2 ch PCM Sonos would pump fake audio into the surrounds. I love that only sound comes out of the FR and FL channels now and not from the center or rears like it didi before I added fronts. I used to have to turn off the rears in the app just so the 2 ch stereo pcm would only come out of my playbar.
I saw a seller was selling a few lots so I liked three of them. Almost immediately I get an offer for each but didn’t respond. Then within an hour the seller direct messages me saying they noticed I liked all three lots and tried making me a bundle offer that wasn’t a great offer. When I told them the offer wasn’t good enough and I’m not interested they got really mad and called me a dickhead and blocked me lol.
Long story short, I wish Mercari wouldn’t share my info with sellers when I like their items because I don’t mind getting offers but I don’t appreciate getting unwanted direct messages from them. At least eBay only gives out your member screen name when you make an offer to the seller and not from just simply liking an item. Please change this Mercari
Bought an item on eBay that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. All of my other packages yesterday were out for delivery at 6:10am but then this package at 7:31am that was already at the post office when my other went out for delivery said it was intercepted and the 3 min later said being held at customer request? The
Problem is I made no such request and I reached out to the seller and they said they didn’t either. I tried calling the number for the local post office but of course nobody answers.
Anyone have this happen before? I’m hoping it was a miss scan or maybe it was sorted wrong and they will deliver it today but I would think it it was going to get re-delivered today then the tracking would have updated no?
I have a playbar, sub mini, pair play 3 for fronts and pair of Sonos ikea frame speakers for rears. The main system was tuned with true play before I setup my speakers in the app but when I added the play 3 pair as front R and L I didn’t true play them in a stereo pair beforehand. Do you think I’d notice a meaningful difference? I’m asking before I try it just in case I can save the hassle of having to dismantle all the speakers in the app and then make a stereo pair with the play 3 and run true play then unpair again and add everything back.
For those with a playbar and or playbase and an Apple TV 4K what do you set the audio to on your Apple TV auto or convert to DD 5.1? Setting to DD 5.1 seems to eliminate the 3 sec audio delay issue but now everything, including things that are supposed to be in stereo, plays in DD 5.1.
Being out in the sun or just even sweating makes me panic. Not sure if it’s because it makes me think I’m sick or because heat makes my heart race but it gives me extreme anxiety and panic. I even sometimes turn on the AC indoors in the winter. Anyone else? Also, how did you get over it if you ever did?
Was looking for a cheap second 4k player and I came across a Phillips BDP7502 for $40 and decided to take a chance on it. Got it today and this might be the best player for the money on the used market. It has Dolby vision, two HDMI outputs, optical output, 4k upscaling. I wanted to test out a triple layer disc so I just watched Kindergarten Cop and it played all the way through without skipping. Tested out a couple of blurays and the upscaling is solid.
If any one is on a budget and looking for a player that checks all the boxes for $100 I highly recommend this player. I’ve seen it pop up a few times on eBay and it’s routinely under $75 shipped.
I will probably get downvoted for this opinion but, I recently found an awesome deal ($349) on an open box Arc Ultra, so I decided to pull the trigger. After about a week with it I ended up selling it and going back to the playbar. Yes the ultra gets a little louder and has upfiring speakers but overall I felt the playbar has a wider soundstage. I can hear the right and left separation when something goes across the screen etc better than the Ultra and it just overall has a more pleasing sound to me. Anyone else have a similar experience? I guess I should add that the playbar and ultra were paired with a sub mini and a pair of ikea Sonos picture frame speakers for surrounds and yes I ran everything through Trueplay.
I don’t listen to a lot of music so I didn’t try the ultra for that but honestly I think the playbar is the best soundbar Sonos has made, and I’ve had a Beam gen 1 and 2, Ray, ultra and playbase (which is still being used as my bedroom soundbar paired with some Play 3 as surrounds)
Went to turn on my Panasonic UB420 and the power light just blinks red slowly for a couple of min and then does 4 rapid blinks and shuts off. There is no signal from the HDMI to the tv either.
If anyone has had a similar issue and has some insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
On bluray.com it says this set is from a 2020 remaster? Try it to figure out if these are the same scans done for the 2011 trilogy that was released or if they actually remastered these in 2020 at the same time they remastered the 4k release and are just now releasing that remaster in bluray?
So when I signed up for my marketplace plan they asked if I wanted to check if I’m eligible for Medicaid free health insurance. I declined and continued and selected my plan. Well fast-forward to now and I just got an email saying that they discovered I have both Medicaid and marketplace insurance and so my marketplace insurance discount is going to end. The thing is I had no clue they also signed me up for that and I have never even used it nor do I even know how.
Has this happened to anybody else? If so what did you do to keep your plan and not get your financial help with your marketplace plan canceled? Do I just need to call
Marketplace and explain and then go back to Medicaid plan and cancel it even though I never wanted it in the first place? Thanks!
