Eastenders is cooked

Not as bad as Ricky Mitchell naming his kid after Charli XCX

Real talk, I can’t acc tell if I love or hate when shows do this. It’s obviously a bit cringe, pins the media to a specific timeframe and will inevitably feel dated within a few moments. But, there’s also something beautiful about long-running shows like Eastenders reflecting pop culture in real time to look back on in the future.

What do y’all think?

I recently hosted a webinar on all things TikTok Shop with Tori Flowers, who makes a milli a year btw.

These are 5 key tips we took away from the session.

  1. TREAT IT LIKE A REAL JOB

Stop posting randomly. Consistency is the #1 priority, so sit down and make an actual schedule that you *will* follow. Tori didn’t see real success until a couple of months in so do not feel demotivated if things don’t instantly take off. Remember, this is an investment in your future.

  1. DON’T SPAM THE FEED

You don’t need to post 10-15 times a day. More isn’t better: *better is better*. Focus on ensuring the quality of your content is 100%. That way what you put out actually has a chance of connecting with audiences, and thus, resulting in conversions.

  1. YOU GOTTA LOOK GOOD

Visuals are EVERYTHING here, cheap does not sell i.e. selling a dress in harsh fluorescent lighting that does not do the dress any justice. Lighting is key so make sure to invest in a good ring light, keep your visuals clean, and ensure your audio is clear. This helps build your visual aesthetic, and in turn, trust with your audiences.

  1. QUICK MONEY AIN’T WORTH IT

Don’t call any products *dupes,* make sure to steer clear of any risky claims, and don’t use shady tactics to sell your stuff. This might make you a quick buck or two, but it’s not worth it in the long game. Protecting your account and reputation is *so* much more important.

  1. DON’T SPEND $$$$ ON RANDOM COURSES

Seriously, do not do it. There are plenty of guides on YouTube, TikTok and here on Circle (*wink, wink*) that you can use for free. Also, just get out there! Start with some trial and error posts, and in the meantime, study creators in your niche every day - that’s where the real learning happens.

Hope this has been useful :')
