Quit my corporate job!

To be a SAHW and doggy mom! Am I gonna regret it? My husband's providing a monthly allowance. We said we'll give it a 2-month trial. I'm curious if I'll want more money and end up finding another job.

I was getting burnt out of my job and didn't want to do it anymore. I'll take this time to relax and explore other interests, and if it turns out to be lucrative then that's a bonus.

Any guesses on how these 2 months will be? Curious to hear from anyone who has done the same and left the corporate world.

Tried Factor and Thistle

I only ordered 4 meals from Factor and I canceled right away. Very small and looks so unappetizing as opposed to how they look online. They weren't terrible tasting but I ended up giving my husband my last 2 bc I didn't feel like eating them.

I love fresh vegetables so I was excited to order Thistle. Finished 4 in my first week but really I can't eat salads that often! 1 of the 4 was pad Thai so that mixed it up a little but it's not real pad Thai, 30% noodles and veggies. They are tasty since they mix other healthy fresh and textured variety ingredients in but I think I've stomach my last salad! I was going to cancel but thought I'd give it another week and am expecting pasta and risotto in next week's delivery. We'll see how that goes.

How often do you want to quit?

Yesterday was fine but I swear some days.I just wanna quit on the spot! so much that i've already prepared my husband in case I do! Everyone will say you work from home, everything's great, what more can you ask for?

For starters, a supportive team, not to feel like I'm the only one carrying the weight of a project when it's a team effort! I'm inherently independent so I really hate asking for help since I do most my work on my own. But this damn project involves their sh\*t so they better carry their weight to avoid looking like lazy @sses.

It hasn't always been like this, just recently things shifted. I sure hope things start settling down favorably so I don't feeling like giving them the finger so often!

He wants a divorce but doesn't want anything to change between us, and he wants to get remarried again eventually. We've gone through a rough patch 3 years ago and he hasn't gotten over it completely, and believes getting a divorce will help him. I know it sounds like he's scamming me, but he swears he loves me, that's why he's still here.

It's just a complete waste of time and money to do this if we'll still be together!!

To protect his pension. He hasn't retired yet so if i leave him, I won't have access to half. I said I love him and am not with him for money. He said prove it by getting a divorce. Then we'll sign a prenup and get married again. WTF!

A previous buyer i sold to 8 years ago is now interested in selling their property. However, they haven't lived in it for 5 years, it's been a rental. Not sure what the quality is. It's in a desirable area, just not sure if it'll require a lot of work. They have solar panels that aren't producing much energy.

Should I advise them to keep it as a rental? Or wait till it's vacant before listing it as dealing with tenants is a pain!

Silence challenge

My husband and I were in the car for a 30 minute drive, and suddenly I said "first one to speak, loses $50." We shook on it. Game on! He's more of a talker than me so I surely thought i was gonna win this one!

We get to the store, I stay in the car while he gets down. Once he's in the store, I call him on my phone thinking he's gonna lose ... nope, click! Damn, he didn't fall for it! Our plan before the challenge was to pick up food so while he was in the store I text him, asking him what he wanted. He ignored me!

When he got in the car, I entered the address of the restaurant in the car's navigation and I pointed to it to show him. He ignored me again and drove past our stop! I kept pointing in the direction and

got so annoyed but in my mind, I didn't care if we didn't get food and just went home. But suddenly I whispered "whatever!" accidentally and lost! 😤😡🤬
