The name's Heckles, I'm 37 (half-decrepit and more washed up than the old pair of knickers!) and I'm from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 I find myself trying to reach out through these channels because life has been a little lonely lately, like I'm missing those real connections I used to have.

I've been through a lot in my life's journey, some good and some bad, and I'm sorta rebuilding and doing my best to move forward. Truthfully? When not working too many hours and being swamped by the loony dreams in my Pisces mind, I tend to take comfort from the following:

\* Travelling - I enjoy getting out there and seeing the world where I can. I've spent a lot of time in and out of the US in recent years (yee-haw!) and dotted around Europe a little bit, to the point where I spent a few years in Sweden - Got a cool EU passport outta it! 🇪🇺

\* Postcards - this is something I used to be big on and I really want to rediscover it, so the right person will definitely get a card off me at some point. It comes complete with my weird doodles and the usual onslaught of stickers. 📮

\* Music - ain't that one for everyone, or like nearly everyone? I'm really into Irish folk and rock music, but then you can also find my blasting away to some 80s tunes when I'm in the mood. I am a massive fan of the Pogues if anyone here has heard of them? 🕺🏼

\* Yapping - I really enjoy talking, sometimes to the point where you need to tell me to shut up now and then (I will listen as well!). I just enjoy sharing thoughts and feelings, and not to mention pictures of my day-to-day and whatever may pop into my head. 💭
