Would you take your Rav4 to another garage for a oil service vs the Toyota Dealership?

just shopping for better places in my area, for. better service and price as unhappy with our Toyota Dealership?

2019 Rav4, i assume an oil change is very simple?

for all you Canadian marathon people I am deciding between 2 marathons to do in 2 weeks. Last minute decision to do another one.

Calgary or Sudbury

If you had a choice what one would you do?

Sudbury is smaller but way more convenient and and i stay like outside the start area for a low price

Calgary larger scale event, but more waiting around and longer travel to and from the start and finish lines

what would you choose and why would you choose that one?

Just putting this out there. Who enjoys the running aspect to run Tarps off - Shirtless

For males or females, of course females wear sport top

they say are ur cooler with a proper shirt. i think it works better and feels better tarps off

skin breaths, and less laundry

and i think the look is more natural to all

air feels good on skin and. feels empowering

best time is is when it is still dark out

what are your experiences and who else runs shirtless and tell us about the moments

I apologize for this, if this comes off as a double post. For anyone doing the marathon or other events for the Sudbury Rocks Marathon. I will be coming down for it from out of town.

I see so many negative posts of staying downtown so i can just walk to the start line?

was thinking of that Days Inn up the road, but keep hearing bad stories of the area.

For those of you who are local, what are your plans for parking for the event?

What do you suggest? is there a parking lot near start line too?

Also what area of town you consider a "safe" place to stay with a good hotel etc?

thanks

I was considering to fly into Gander. but prices of flight really go up and are not convenient.

flying in from Ontario, just going to ST johns seems reasonable but doing the add on to Gander from either St Johns or Halifax really changes in prices,

what do you suggest for getting into Gander. Also flight times out of Gander are not reasonable but flying out of St Johns is when things get better

would you suggest worth the time to drive the 3 hours back and forth? what would you do in this situation?

Just asking what is the average weather like for Gander around May 22 to 24th? Temperature and actually weather?

chances of snow? or would it be ok then, just normal NFLD temperatures of like 13c?

Will be in Sudbury end of the month for the marathon. Thinking of staying at this hotel

Best Western Downtown Sudbury Centreville which is off Minto and Larch street. From google streetview seems there is a parking lot across the street.

How safe is this area? could i have confidence that my vehicle not get broken into in that area. I see the police station is close by so maybe good sign? look to all your feedback?

Is there any specific site that show a proper list of all available Marathons in Canada without doing a search on Runguides and have to pinpoint each race . Just like to make a list of everyone available for future reference. Perhaps make a goal to run all of them at some point of time.

Supporting the Quads - Suggestions in Marathon

I find like many others near end of the marathons I done, the quads always go and I end up running like a penguin near the last few km's. I was wondering if there are any suggestions? that i could use like an IT band support band or something to put around my quads for that extra muscle support, as things seem to work better if i squeeze those muscles a bit? would this be good idea? if so any ideas of devices that could work?

Left Side Version of Military Support

With this in respect to the military.  I would like to know a more sensible vision of what the left side consider to be proper for military spending. As a supporter of NDP and left leaning politics myself.  What are your thoughts on a proper vision of military for Canada?

Reason on this as there have been too many generations since Second World War of how our country became more and more reliable on the USA for military resources.  To the point of which USA was having more control what could happen with Canada. Now with the important move now to move things more away from the USA control including military. As with our recent government putting a larger portion of the budget into more military with Canada which is of course another concern.

The question I ask from all of you as from being left leaning. What would be your ideal military position Canada should have in regarding budgets and protection of our country?
