Transparent Shopify breakdown from one of our recent ~$4.1K revenue days.
I know a lot of people post screenshots, but I always cared more about:
- profit
- AOV
- backend revenue
- actual conversion improvements
So here’s the breakdown behind this day.
STORE PERFORMANCE
Revenue: ~$4,139
Conversion Rate: 2.75%
Increase vs previous period: +15%
The biggest shift honestly came from improving AOV instead of only chasing more traffic.
For a long time, we kept focusing mostly on ads and creatives, but too many customers were still checking out with only one product.
Once we improved bundles, quantity discounts, upsells, urgency, and post-purchase flow, revenue became much more stable.
WHAT HELPED MOST
- Quantity Breaks Simple “buy 2 save more” offers outperformed complicated funnels.
- Bundles 2–3 product offers increased cart value much faster than expected.
- Upsells Small add-ons after add-to-cart performed really well.
- Social Proof + Urgency Simple countdown timers and purchase activity notifications increased action rate.
- Email + SMS Recovery Abandoned cart + browse abandonment flows recovered a surprising amount of revenue.
TOOLS WE USED
- COVA Bundles & Upsell (generated ~$1.8K in extra revenue through bundles + upsells)
- Klaviyo
- Dondy
- Judge.me
One interesting thing:
A big part of the extra revenue came specifically from bundles, quantity offers, free gifts, and upsells increasing average order value.
Biggest lesson:
A lot of stores don’t actually have a traffic problem.
They have a monetization + AOV structure problem.
Now the next target is scaling this to ~$10K/day within the next month while keeping margins healthy.
Current focus:
- more creative testing
- higher AOV
- better retargeting
- stronger backend flows
- gradual ad scaling without killing CPA
Curious what’s working best for everyone else right now:
- bundles?
- upsells?
- subscriptions?
- SMS?
- post-purchase offers?
