Anyone else completely uninterested in people behind the music?
I see many people saying [someone's name] is my favorite guitarist, bassist, drummer, etc. But I never really bother to find out about them.
Sure, when I like an album I think to myself, I like the guitars, I like the vocals, I like the drums, but I am too lazy to actually find out who exactly is playing them.
And I sometimes really like the music and try to find more music based on their names, but eventually I forget about them.
So when I talk to someone else who likes metal, I run into conversations involving names, like someone died, someone left the band, someone joined the band... and I just can't care about them.
Edit: the point of this post was to ask, anyone else lazy like me? Not that it is a waste of time to find out names of course.
