Botanical horror book recommendations?

Hi I’m looking for books like Don’t Let The Forest In by CG Drews but would like something adult rather than YA. Or really well written YA that feels like it borders on being adult is fine too but nothing that feels “teenager-like”. Would love it to be queer too but not a must

Is it fair to keep a blind foal alive?

Long story short, my horse who is in her teens is part blind and at a higher risk to eventually go completely blind. this led to a conversation with my mom that ended in an argument about if a foal who is completely blind should be put down or not. She did have a foal when I was a kid that was born blind and euthanized.

I showed her Enya the blind foal but my mom isn’t convince and think the quality of life for most blind foals would be too low.

What are your guy’ thoughts? Any experience with this?

Why is water slushies not a thing in stores/parks?

Slushies but with just water instead of sugary flavouring. It makes water way more interesting and in my opinion easier to get enough of it to be properly hydrated

For me it’s:

Caterina Scorsone in Private Practice when Amelia relapsed and had the baby + in greys when she’s talking/crying to Owen after Derek died and she wanted to take drugs she bought from another doctor

Katherine Heigl when Denny died

Honorable mention: Adelaide Kane was brilliant as Mary Queen of Scots in Reign

I love how they gave her a life, it was so sweet. I would’ve liked to see more of Mistyfoot parenting them. She seemed like she’d be a good mom. I don’t remember it ever saying how Reedwhisker’s siblings died.
