All paid in full

After aggressively attacking my debts, I have finally paid off all of my credit cards from about an 80% utilization 2 months ago on my combined cards. Currently sitting at 715 FICO Score 9 Experian with everything else in great condition except my credit age which needs some time.

How long should I expect to wait for my score to increase? I’m hoping to get the Amex Gold once I can get my CS up a bit more. Thanks!

How would you make this work?

Grew up in a very dysfunctional home. Dad cheated on my mom and had a child with another woman and left while I was 12. I struggled with ADHD and my sexual identity from a young age. My older sister has autism which has later turned into mental health challenges. My father doesn’t talk to me and I don’t talk to him. Have truly had an absent father since I was 13. My parents can’t stand the thought of each other and I’m reminded of that all the time. All this aside, I would say we can most times get along.
I have recently relocated to stay with my mom as a stepping stone to my next larger move to a bigger city. Since we have been back living together, I’m reminded often how it was like growing up with her. Especially weekends, my mom was always unhappy with me. I personally think she has a tough time managing her mood and is medicated and speaks about her mom and her bipolar disorder. Since living with each other again, she tends to treat and act like she used to when I was young. Moody, bothered, sarcastic even though we haven’t lived with each other for many years. She almost just acts like it’s normal to be that way all time.
I’ve said to her that I don’t want to be included in her drama or have her mood constantly be projected on me. I brought up emotional intelligence and the ability to manage your emotions, mood. She used to cry all the time there would be some disagreement or issue. We’ve had this conversation come up many times. She treats me very different than she does other family members. I’m an adult and really want to navigate our relationship in a more mature, adult like way.

How much does spending use on your CC’s affect your score and your ability to obtain high limits? For instance, if you use your cards credit for all your spending vs from checking/saving to make purchases.

Used victory grips back in the day. Currently have Velites and man do they dig in my wrists. Good quality but sometimes pinches in MU’s and long c2b sets even with the wrist sleeves

Are the new victory grips “Conquer Freedom” better than the “Tactical freedom”?

Also if you have any recommendations, not a big fan of frog grips, but have tried many over the years.

Per recommendations I just paid my statement balance in full to my credit one card. When is the best time to close the account? After it reflects zero balance? Paying this off and closing it will really help my utilization which has bogged me down. Current CS: 707. Thanks for your help!
