Coming back after years to multiplayer.

Originally, I played during the initial multiplayer drop back on XBOX. I quit there after because I wasn't as into it as the older titles. Fast forward to now, I have a good PC and have reinstalled it on steam. But the consensus on the game is questionable currently. Many state it's now slowly hemorrhaging it's meager player base while others say the game is still fine and has life left.

Away from the talk of it's future, how is the progression now? How is the multiplayer? And would you recommend putting money in at all?

Any dumb fun RPGs that are pick up and play?

I was playing AC1 the other day and since it was the middle of the night, I couldn't really enjoy it as I couldn't turn my TV up to hear it. So I've realized that I should leave the story driven dialogue heavy games to when It's not 1 in the morning and just find a easy to pick up dumb fun rpg that I can play for an hour or two consistently and doesn't require me to be tuned in or paying much attention.

Any recommendations?

Why did you pick your main class/spec? Either now currently or back in the day. Was it just because they looked cool? Did you wanna play the meta? Did you start on one class and swap to another?

I haven't fully decided on a main myself, being an altoholic. And if you are an altoholic, why not list what character you've clocked the most hours on?

A long bit ago, I used to play CSGO. I played a good 100 hours of it in comp, and over time I found myself becoming more and more afraid of letting my team down. Eventually, this pushed me to quit the game entirely by CS2. Fast forwarding to now, I've decided to try Overwatch and really like it. And I wanna start quick play and eventually competitive. But my brain has so much anxiety that it causes me to screw around avoiding playing.

The thought of just hopping into a quickplay game raw without any previous experience flares me up and makes me start second guessing. I've been just playing bot matches to gain some gameplay experience, but that doesn't prepare me for the real matchmaking. I'm also having a tough time narrowing down my preferred characters to main too. And overall, coming in fresh has got me tense.

So, what are good casual gamemodes to start off with, characters to learn, practices to start ingraining early? And how would you help a noob from starting into the main gamemodes and eventually competitive pool?
