Closing the first chapter of the Hyper-E collection with Ferrari.

A brand defined by competition, legacy, and an uncompromising pursuit of performance it felt only right to bring Ferrari into this imagined future of electric endurance racing.

For this concept, I focused on creating a top-class WEC-style prototype that reflects Ferrari’s ambition to compete at the highest level, even within a fictional electric category.

The design is built around a deeper interpretation of Ferrari Rosso, slightly darker than the traditional Scuderia tone adapted to suit the character of an electric hypercar while maintaining that unmistakable Ferrari identity.

I hit the limit last month and at first I found enough cars to make room for new additions, but the choices are getting much more difficult now.

When I first started to play this game one of my goals was to acquire at least one of every car in the game in its original spec, which currently accounts for 565 cars in the garage.

I also wanted to get one of every possible Engine Swap variant (also in its original spec), which currently accounts for another 255 cars.

I also wanted to have at least one duplicate for every one of those cars in order to have a fully modded variation (Wide Bodies, Engine Mods, Light Weight Stages, etc…as Wide Bodies, like Engine Swaps, can not be reversed for some strange reason 🤷‍♂️).

Some cars do not have any option for any of those permanent/semi-permanent mods, but this still accounts for about 1,600 of the possible 2,000 cars.

Once I started playing around with Custom races and recreating and reimagining historic races, F1 races, Endurance Championship races, etc… this has required me to start collecting 20 car mini collections for each of those kinds of races.

And this has caused me to reach the 2,000 car limit fairly quickly!

This also doesn’t even take in account all the different original liveries that cannot be replicated with the Livery Editor… most notably the ones with different interiors based on the original livery which you lose when using the Livery Editor. 🤦‍♂️

However, I may have a workaround of sorts for the 2,000 cars garage limit.

I still have my PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, and now a PS5 Pro so I created guest accounts on GT7, so when friends come over we can all race together without having to use Split Screen which can be limiting, and this way they can make their own custom liveries.

The unexpected benefit of this is that I can now at least use those guest accounts to collect cars I no longer have room for in my own garage. While I can’t use them with my account, that doesn’t really matter to me as much as the option to be able to use them no matter what account they are available on.

So if anyone is also having to get rid of cars to make room for new additions, I highly recommend creating an alt account so that you aren’t restricted to the 2,000 cars limit. 🍻

I know whatever I'm going to babble about isn't going to make it into GT but... I kinda wish the 3 McLaren F1s in GT had more interesting customisations... like, maybe make it where if you get the standard F1, you can give it 2 types of wide-bodies. The GT and the LM body kits. Maybe even have aero upgrades for the Longtail GTR(like the SOK's front canards) or change the headlight entirely to the "flat one" instead of the curved one. idk, I just want more customization for cars like these. I'm just alittle bummed out that the F1 and other cars didn't get

you know i've been thinking about GT8, if they ever learn from the mistake that is GT7's "menu books", i really do hope they bring back the freedom and open endedness that was the career modes of past games.

BUT... i also want them to keep it fresh. so i came up with an idea. what if instead of individual races, it's championships? as in you buy a starter car and instead of entering races one by one, you enter a championship for maybe 3-5 races and you can't compete in other championships until you finish that one. and if we do get full sophy implementation in GT8, i really want them to do the power pack format with practice and qualifying included.

for example, i buy a prius and enter the sunday cup championship with like 3 races. you can't compete anywhere else until you complete that one. once you do, there's rewards for like gold and bronze as usual. then you're free to choose the next championship to compete in. the championships get longer and harder as it progresses until eventually we'd reach the endurance races where they're a singular race that you'd unlock after reaching certain criteria (like in the power pack)

it's fresh but at the same time familiar because it's how a lot of people already play the old career modes (minus being restricted to a certain championship) but i kinda feel like this is a change that could shake things up regardless.

i'd also think they could use the level system to make it so that you can compete in more championships as you level up. as in you can compete in two or three different championships simultaneously in the endgame so that people aren't so stuck into only doing a single series which can bore people.

i just had to get this off my chest because it's been sitting in my mind for a few days but let me know your thoughts. i do expect people to find flaws in this but that's the point i am making this post.
