Admission query for Textile Department, Punjab University

Salam everyone, I’m planning to apply to the Textile Engineering department at Punjab University this year. I’ve done ICS and I’m trying to get a clear picture before I apply. Can anyone share honest reviews about the department – faculty, labs, placements, and overall environment? Also, apart from the PU entry test, what other requirements do I need for admission with an ICS background? And lastly, is the department actually worth it compared to other options, and how’s the overall experience at PU?

  1. How’s the Textile department in terms of teaching and labs?

  2. What’s the admission criteria for arts department besides the entry test?

  3. Is it worth joining for placements and learning?

  4. How’s life at Punjab University overall?

If I do intermediate in General Science Group (Eco, Stats, Math) from GC Lahore what fields can I go into after? Do universities accept us?

‎If someone takes intermediate in General Science Group with Economics, Statistics, Mathematics from GC Lahore, what are the options after inter?

‎1. Which BS degrees can we apply for? Can we go into CS, IT, Data Science, BBA, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science?

‎2. Do universities like PU, UET, FAST, LUMS, NUST take General Science students? Or do they require Pre-Eng/ICS only?

‎3. Do we have to give separate admission tests like ECAT, NET, NTS, SAT? Will we be at a disadvantage vs Pre-Eng students?

‎4. What fields have good scope with this combination in Pakistan?

Need advice: 90% marks, name in 1st merit list of General Science Group at GC Lahore — should I wait for Pre-Eng list?

‎I applied to Government College Lahore for FSC. My marks are 90% in matric.

‎My name has come in the 1st merit list of General Science Group (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics). But my first priority was Pre-Engineering.

‎The college says if I don’t take admission now after 1st list, my seat in General Science will be cancelled. But I’m expecting my name might come in Pre-Engineering in 2nd or 3rd merit list.

‎1. With 90% marks, what are the chances my name comes in Pre-Engineering in next lists at GC?

‎2. Should I take admission in General Science Group for now to secure a seat? Can I shift to Pre-Eng later if my name comes?

‎3. If I take admission in General Science now, will I lose the chance for Pre-Eng?

Just finished DARK and my brain is fucking broken. What next?

Finished DARK and I’m obsessed with how every damn character/timeline links together. I literally sat there drawing a linkage tree for the family lines and bootstrap paradoxes like a psycho — it was _fabulous_.

Now I need something with the same interconnected, mind-bending plot. No cheap twists or lazy writing. I want shows/movies where every tiny detail matters and the payoff is actually worth the headache.

Drop your best rec.

Ignore so many mobiles in the picture though 😅

First time making a skillet cookie and I get the hype now.

Honestly tasted better once it cooled down a bit vs piping hot. The center set up and got super fudgy, and it didn’t need ice cream. The whipped cream was enough.

Crispy edges, gooey center, loaded with chocolate chips.

Valid af. _I Swear_ slaps. Robert Aramayo killed it. And facts, it IS about education + acceptance. The Queen swearing incident is wild 😭 And that quote “The problem is not Tourette’s, the problem is that people don’t know enough about Tourette’s” goes hard.

Honestly every time I step outside I feel like I can’t breathe.

Like 55M kids under 5? 18 crore youth? For what?? There’s no jobs, no space, no future here and people just keep having kids like it’s not gonna affect anything.

It’s not cute. It’s not “rizq from Allah” when the kid grows up with nothing. It’s just unfair.

Why do Pakistanis think from their d*cks but not their brain? We’re already trapped and we keep on adding more people to it!

And the worst part is you can’t even talk about it. Mention birth control and suddenly everyone’s a mufti, even tho half of them don’t know basic deen.

idk man. Feels like we’re all stuck in a room that keeps getting smaller, and people keep inviting more guests.

Makes me wanna scream sometimes 🤮
