Any recommendations appreciated, thanks!
Just finished 'Dark' and 'Breaking Bad'. What other thrillers actually stick the landing without ruining the mystery
I’m a huge fan of mind-bending shows and high-stakes thrillers, but I hate it when a series sets up a massive mystery and then the ending falls flat. I thought Dark handled its complex timeline perfectly, and Breaking Bad obviously nailed the tension.
For those who like strategic, puzzle-box plots—what should I watch next that actually has a satisfying finale? I want something that respects the viewer's intelligence
Not so serious
Looking for for new shows that are binge worthy to throw on while I look for a new job🙄 Some of the things I’ve been enjoying recently
—
Eastbound and down
Cunk on earth
Silicon Valley
Wilfred
Dirk gently detective agency
Hamiltons pharmacopeia
Utopia
The umbrella academy
Your friends and neighbors
Superstore
Limitless
Silo (more serious setting but open to similar shows)

Thanks everyone! :)
Fun, easily bingeable, "Gen-Z"-esque romance
hi!!! the title is basically what i'm looking for. i want more lighthearted tv show, easy to watch/binge or be able to just watch a few episodes everyday. i don't really wanna have to think if that makes sense...
i've been rly into the "gen-z" modern type of stuff lately (heated rivalry, overcompensating, adults, cruel intentions, etc) , especially stuff based on books as i love to both watch the tv show + read the books! but i'm open to anything, incl. foreign media (kdramas? cdramas? etc). my only thing is no horrors or murder mysteries please or like supernatural stuff (like ghosts or zombies)
some stuff i've really enjoyed recently: off campus, adults, cruel intentions, partner track, young & hungry + the stuff i mentioned above
i also used to rly like xo kitty, never have i ever, my life w the walter boys, summer i turned pretty and all that jazz so if anyone has stuff in that category too, i'd be cool with that!
thanks so much!!!
I need a series to binge
I'm struggling on a new series to start. Based on my likes and dislikes any suggestions that might be up my ally?
Shows I loved
Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Mr. Robot, Deadwood, Sopranos , Boardwalk Empire, Severance, Succession, GOT (i'm not a fantasy fan, but i did like it), Goliath, Righteous Gemstones though second to last season, that last season dropped off a cliff. Narcos, Ozark
Shows I started and couldn't finish because i couldn't get into it (be nice, I'm sorry, i know a lot of people like these shows, just not for me)
Landman, Dark, Weeds, Madmen, Sneaky Pete, Shameless, any medical drama, Yellowstone,
Recommend a show like Arrested Development
Can anyone recommend a show that's pure anarchic comedy, without characters mooning after each other, engaging in cloying emotional arcs or trying to teach lessons? Something like Arrested Development, Police Squad, Trial & Error, Year Of The Rabbit, Another Era and Ten-Year-Old Tom?
Inappropriate 18+ tv shows recommendations
I like tv shows that has lots of swearings, gunshots/fightings, graphics contents, mocking religion.
I do not like horrors/ghosts/scary.
Things i have watched are:
- Banshee,
- Mayor of Kingstown,
- Yellowstone,
- Vikings,
- Preacher,
- Gangs of London,
- Mr Inbetween,
- the boys
Finished The Wire, Dark, GOT, Sopranos, True Detective. What show ruined TV for you after watching it?
I think I accidentally watched the peak of television already. The Wire, Dark, GOT, Sopranos, True Detective S1 all left that “nothing else hits the same” feeling.
I love slow-burn shows with deep characters, mystery, tension, moral grayness, crazy dialogue, or mind-blowing writing. Doesn’t matter if it’s crime, sci-fi, psychological, or political.
What’s the next show that might completely consume me?
Hopeless eternal romance series?
Hey all
So i a drama/romance fan and I'd like to watch some series where the couple has inseperable bond.
Maybe something like the Nicholas sparks movies, or the OG movies like notebook or something like that but in a series format
Also I watched 11.22.63 and really loved the romance between jake and sadie so maybe something similar? (Where the couple fights the odds and try to be together?)
any newish shows about young adults?
I'm specifically looking for comedies that are very gen-z and campy. I've really enjoyed I love LA, Overcompensating, and Adults (my fav out of this list)- something fun, probably queer, but that also has good acting and interesting storylines.
Wonder Years - Anyone ever talk about this anymore?
The Wonder Years (original) had a huge effect on me growing up. Even though it's dated it really has themes for coming of age that are still current today. Or if you want charming nostalgia before the days of technology and internet, I highly recommend it. The dad in the show was very similar to mine who passed away recently. But overall it's mix of narration, use of music, and relatable situations always makes it an easy rewatch IMO.
Shows as good as The Rookie??
(Looking for shows as good as The Rookie)
We have an opinion! We just watched all of what’s available of The Rookie. Really enjoyed it. I give it a solid 8/10. Anyways. It hit all the notes we enjoy.
Decent amount of humor. Action. Semi-believable premise and plot-lines. Chemistry between actors. Slow burn romance. Very little language, and not so inappropriate that you have to skip stuff. We want a story, not bedroom fantasies.
I was very impressed by how high quality the filming and pacing was, and I really wish more TV was as good at this as The Rookie.
Give me your best suggestions… and go!!
(It doesn’t have to be cop-related)
Thank you 🙏

Looking for a show to start
Recently finished a TV series and with the boys wrapping up soon, looking for a new show to watch. Some shows I’ve watched recently is cross, which is a detective show, terminal list, terminal list: the dark wolf, invincible, the boys, and the man in the high castle. Also watched shows adjacent to the boys (season 1 of gen V, the boys diabolical) and invincible (the atom eve special). If it helps narrow anything down, the streaming services I have are Amazon prime and peacock. Looking for something along the lines of action or mystery or drama, any suggestions are appreciated!
Shows like How to get away with Murder
Want something to watch with similar vibes ig, need to get hooked from the beginning, something you can't stop watching even if creeps the hell out of you
Latest Shows That Hook You Instantly?
Looking for shows that hook you from the very first episode. Genre can be anything as long as the storyline is really good and keeps you invested.
Preferably newer/latest shows, but older shows that are absolutely worth watching are welcome too.
Any recommendations?
any tv show recommendations please!!
I'm really struggling to find something to watch that I don't give up on halfway through because I get bored, and I feel like I haven't watched anything good in ages! As long as I like the characters in the show most of them are fine but I feel like I've watched everything. some of my favourites are yellowjackets, the pitt, two broke girls, brooklyn nine nine, criminal minds, any of the marvel shows, greys anatomy at first until all the good characters left. I'm not really fussed about genre just something interesting. any recommendations would be great thank you!!
30 minute shows to watch with my GF?
Preferably in the comedy or horror genre, some of our faves are Dave (FX), Atlanta (FX), Barry (HBO) and Community (NBC)
Thanks a lot!
