Hi,

Wondering what is the closing merit for BSCS, ADS CS at PU?

How much marks do we have to get in FSc to get in?

How am I supposed to prepare for it, it's in a month and I basically know nothing about it.

Need guidance for BSCS universities in Pakistan, mainly Lahore.

My background:

- FSc Pre-Medical Part 2 student

- Matric: 82% (999/1200)

- FSc Part 1: 400/555 (72%)

I want to switch to BSCS. I’m ready to work hard for entry tests to improve my metit chances.

Need advice on:

- Which BSCS universities should I realistically target?

- Best options in Lahore and outside Lahore

- What FSc percentage should I aim for in Part 2?

- What should I focus on after FSc exams? like which entry test or university admissions prep

Would appreciate honest guidance from CS students.

I am a student in ICS. I got 1098/1200 in matric and 488/560 in ICS part 1. I want to do software engineering from PU or FAST. I belong to a middle class family and i can afford to go to FAST only if i opt for the student loan option but from what i have heard FAST bas ragra hai. Aur mai PU ke self supporting program ko afford nahi kar sakti. So how much marks do i need to get in PU morning for SE even if i get my name in the later merit lists. And

Is FAST really that bad?

Those who have applied for the PU teat have u guys received the roll no slip because i received an email from PU that says to download slip from the link provided in email but for when i enter my cnic it doesnt show my roll no slip

Takes 6 months to 2 years for results. No classes, barely any exams, few assignments to clear marks and at the end, you still get multiple resit exams which take another year to update!

Graphic design department is the worst. No classroom either and the teachers are egoistic for no reason when they themselves do not appear to take one class in the whole semester and then they fail you or lose your ginni chunni assignments. Transcript degree sab delayed. Cannot apply for masters here or abroad. Shittiest management.

Shouldn’t take admission in it agar tareekay pe time se kuch seekh ke cheezain karni hain tw.

I don't know anymore what am i supposed to do

First the boards are ending of 12 and PU test is on 14 . Ecat is maybe starting at 17 and fast entry test date is 29 maybe. How the hell am i supposed to study for it? Last year bhi at least kisi thi bhi uni keh entry test se pahle unnhoun ne 2 weeks diye the boards ke baad preparation ke liye. Iss saal tu pata nahi ye kar kiya rahe hain?

How am i supposed to handle this much pressure?

Salam everyone, I’m planning to apply to the Textile Engineering department at Punjab University this year. I’ve done ICS and I’m trying to get a clear picture before I apply. Can anyone share honest reviews about the department – faculty, labs, placements, and overall environment? Also, apart from the PU entry test, what other requirements do I need for admission with an ICS background? And lastly, is the department actually worth it compared to other options, and how’s the overall experience at PU?
