How religious arguments aganist science work
- They pick something they want to disprove such as evolution usually
- They find something that are first sounds like a problem such as the classic "if man evolved from apes why are there still apes?" or "which came first the chicken or the egg one can't come into existence without the other so only God creating the first chickens or eggs must be true
- They don't bother going further they just say "checkmate."
- If you argue further like "that's not how evolution works," they'll just say it's of the devil
What are your views on Islam?
I've seen a lot of arguing going on in the LGBT world over many things like what letters should be in the acronym to whether pride is being rubbed in people's faces to what a woman is and such but I think the main thing everyone, LGBT or not, should focus on is fighting the real enemy which is truly anti-LGBT people.
So I've seen many LGBT get mad at Christianity just like I have for being anti-gay usually and many other things, but what surprises me is there's not much getting mad at Islam for being VERY anti-LGBT way more than Christianity. In fact in queer spaces I've even been baffled to see some people say they love Islam.
I am anti-Islam as I am anti-Christian specifcially for their anti-gay views so what about you? Muslims and Christians who are not hateful to any group I tolerate.
Something emotional about the level Ruin of the Jedi
When me and my older sister who's long moved on from gaming played the first Lego SW game on Ruin of the Jedi in the Jedi Council chamber where you have to use the force to make all the seats pile up to get the minikit she did this emotional thing.
She would always use the force to put the seats back in memory of the Jedi that used to be there.
...the moment they have the "I'll never forgive you," or "I never wanna hear from you again," is the moment I lose all respect for them and couldn't care less about how they feel.
It's that simple you throw me in the trash I throw you. Really by default I'm always a very nice forgiving person who never wants to cause any problems but some people are more fragile than deers when you try approaching them.
The difference between having bad social skills and being a horrible person. They're not the same!
Like how I can be such a nice person and just innocently try to be myself and fit in with everyone else only for people to react like I've commited crimes aganist humanity because of my social skills not being the best.
Right now I was thinking of how some people in an online community were in so much rage at me "treating the place like it was a diary" when I was actually trying to just fit in, start chats and like everyone else just be myself. One guy said I was (not to my face but later when I wasn't there) an "absolute fckin wnker."
Well, I may not be flawless but at least I'd never call someone that for doing what I did.
In the movie it's shown the natives sacrifice their women to Kong (like sacrifical brides) like they see him as a god and want to please him. When the native old lady meets Ann she says Kong to her like telling her she's going to be sacrificed. At first it seems obvious why they chose Ann because she's a woman and as an intrusive outsider they'd have no issue disposing of her like they're very hostile.
But then something else caught my attention, the hair. Ann's hair looks like the natives especially in the rain, all the natives have long hair, while the men with Ann don't.
I suspect they may have seen her as one of them but perhaps supernatural as they've never seen white people or blonde hair before.
What's more is being natives they wear hardly anything so they shouldn't identify Ann as a woman by her dress but her hairstyle further.
