Need a symmetrical mouse similar in size to DeathAdder V4

Tried the Razer DeathAdder V4 after using a Glorious Model O for a long time, and I’m kinda surprised how uncomfortable it feels.

The Model O always felt too small for my hand (19.5 cm / 7.5 in), so the DeathAdder seemed like a big upgrade at first. I actually like the extra height and overall larger size.

But after a day of use (around 12+ hours gaming), the side hump / back curve started bothering my hand a lot. I guess the ergonomic shape just doesn’t click with me, especially coming from symmetrical mice.

Has anyone else had this issue switching from symmetrical to ergo? Does it take time to adjust, or is ergo just not for me?

Also, any symmetrical mice with a similar size/height to the DeathAdder? I’m probably returning it and trying something else.

Based on my research and comparing shapes on Eloshapes, the Razer Viper V4 looks like the closest option I can find, and it’s lighter too. Any thoughts on that?

First Time having ergonomic Mouse (DV 4) and it feels uncomfortable or should i give some time to adjust?

Sorry for confusion but it's DeathAdder V4 not Viper

just got DV4 and it feel uncomfortable because of the shape style, it like Hunchback of Notre-Dame (LOL, yes it an ergonomic mouse) coming from Symmetrical mouse,

my previous mouse was Glorious Model 0 wireless. it was good but super tiny for me. while the DV4 is really huge upgrade from 0 when it comes to size , but i don't find it comfortable yet (as of the moment )

i haven't used this for long term yet, as the moment i am posting this its about 2 hours of use now.

should i give some time to adjust my hands?

SEA player switching to NA — what differences should I expect?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to start over on the NA servers after spending a long time playing on SEA. I recently moved to another country, so I had to leave my SEA account behind, and I also want to experience a different server environment.

For players who have experience on both SEA and NA/EU servers, what are the biggest differences between them aside from gameplay itself?

I’m mainly curious about things like:

  • Community/player behavior
  • Market/economy
  • Guild culture
  • PvP scene
  • Population/activity
  • Events or overall server atmosphere

From what I’ve seen, NA seems more popular overall compared to SEA, but I’d like to hear from people who’ve actually played on both.

Thanks!

Coming from a Legion 7i high-end OLED laptop screen — which 27” OLED (1440) monitor won’t feel like a downgrade?

Currently using a Lenovo Legion 7i laptop with this OLED display:

- 16" WQXGA OLED (2560x1600)
- 240Hz
- 500 nits
- 100% DCI-P3
- HDR True Black 1000
- 0.5ms response time

I want to get my first external OLED monitor and decided to go with a 27" 1440p OLED instead of 4K because of budget/value.

Main usage:
- general gaming (not hardcore esports)
- movies/ documentaries
- anime

I care more about:
- image quality
- HDR
- colors
- overall experience

Less about:
- super competitive FPS features
- paying extra for unnecessary stuff like 480Hz

Budget is ideally under $500.

Right now I’m considering monitors like:
- MSI MAG QD-OLED models
- MSI MAG 272QPDE X24
- Alienware AW2725D / AW2725DF
- AOC Q27G41ZDF’s QD-O
- maybe ASUS or LG options

What would you recommend as the best value 27" 1440p OLED for my usage without overspending?

Also curious:
- QD-OLED vs WOLED for anime/movies?
- glossy vs matte?
- any burn-in concerns for mixed use nowadays?

May fellow immigrants/migrants ba dito? Curious lang ako kung nag-stay kayo sa PH region or nag-switch na to US?

Cinocompare ko kasi prices ng games sa PH vs US, and sobrang laki ng difference. For example:

Arc Raider – PH: ₱1,838.90 | US: $39.99 (in PH = 2389.73 )
(Current rate: ~$1 = ₱61.28)

Ang laki ng tipid kung naka-PH region pa rin 😅

May disadvantages ba if naka-set pa rin sa PH region kahit nasa US ka na?

Ang naiisip ko lang so far is possible issues sa region-locked MMOs. Pero for story-driven or most games, parang same lang naman release.

Good think i still have my PH bank account to transact sa Steam.

Kayo, anong experience niyo or thoughts about this?

Excited to use my new 5090 coming from GS66 2070. While MSI GS66 was portable but not gaming friendly at all. Also this is huge performance gap.

I’ll update you soon with completely new gaming peripherals.

Also any tips how to properly setup my new gaming laptop? Currently following Crimson Tech guide.

Hey everyone,

I’m working with about a $200 budget, and I’m specifically looking for a mechanical keyboard. At first I was planning to get the Aula F75 Max, but I decided to stretch my budget a bit.

Right now I’m using an Anne Pro 2 (60%). I’ve really enjoyed it, but I never did any maintenance on it, so it doesn’t feel as smooth anymore. I think it’s time to upgrade to something that feels better and ideally quieter.

What I’m after:

  • Mechanical keyboard only
  • 75% or TKL layout
  • Smooth + quiet typing experience (leaning linear or silent switches)
  • Prefer something that’s good stock or with light mods
  • Open to prebuilt or custom
  • Considering wireless, but not sure if it’s worth it vs wired

What I’ve looked at so far:

Initially I was considering more mainstream gaming boards like:

  • SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Gen 3
  • Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL
  • Corsair K65 Plus Wireless (75%)
  • ASUS ROG Azoth (NX Snow linear)
  • Logitech G Pro X TKL Lightspeed (GX Brown)

But from what I’ve seen here, those might not be the best value compared to enthusiast options.

Where I need guidance:

  • At this budget, is wireless worth it, or is wired still the better choice?
  • Should I go custom build, or a solid prebuilt + upgrades (switches/keycaps/mods)?
  • Any recommendations for boards, kits, or switches that fit a quiet/smooth typing profile?

I’m fine with doing basic mods (lubing, foam, etc.), but I’d prefer not to go too deep right away.
