Closest fit to Nudie Steady Eddie II?

Hey folks,

I'm keen to pick up a pair of Naked and Famous soon, but I'm trying to work out which cut and I'm massively overthinking it at this point because being in Australia it's not like I can just order a few pairs and return them easily.

I'm a 175cm tall, 75kg woman with a history of weight lifting and riding my bike everywhere, and a current love of chips, so I have load bearing hips and thighs. I enjoy the bagginess and taper of the Nudie Steady Eddies because they hide a bit of thigh bulk without being too wide on my calves. I wear a 33W 34L in Nudies.

Today I was able to try on the True Guy in my size (34) and determine that the front rise is waaayyyy too high. The stockist I visited suggested I try on a Weird Guy, but they only had a 36, and they were obviously too big and thus difficult to be sure they'd work. Looking at the measurements online, the Steady Eddie is somewhere between the Weird and Easy guys.

My concern with the Weird guy is the smaller thigh and shorter back rise. The other measurements seem great. My concern with the Easy guy is the higher front rise and larger waist. However, a little tighter might be good, because I plan on using them to enter a fade competition next year (which is also why I'm massively overthinking this). Does anyone have any advice, please?

There was a video a few months back saying it was releasing on the 21st of May, but there's nothing about it on the website, and I haven't seen it come up much since. Does anyone have an update, please? I'm very keen to learn the weight of the denim and if they're still actually releasing in two weeks, because it seems unlikely at this point?

Hello!
So, first up, I have made an appointment with my GP about this. But while I wait I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing and what you do.

Every time I do Pilates or sit ups or whatever, I pop out my hyoid bone. It’s a bit of a pain because I can’t swallow properly while it’s out and it’s quite uncomfortable, but I can usually push it back in just fine. However, on the weekend I had this random bit of cartilage come out in the right side of my neck and I just couldn’t get it to stay in for ages. It would pop out as soon as I put it back for around an hour. Doesn’t appear to be related to the hyoid bone, and it felt weird more than anything else. It’s back now, thank goodness, but I’m always a bit nervous about stuff in my neck.

Does anyone know what that could have been? And how do you normally handle popping out stuff in your neck? Is there a specific flavour of doctor to see about popping out bones and cartilage in the neck? It just seems more serious than the basic ribs, sternum, hip, etc which are less potentially life threatening, but I’m not sure if I’m just overthinking the neck.

My 22m daughter has never needed a lot of sleep, and I’m very grateful that she sleeps through the night. But this nap maths just isn’t mathsing and I’m trying to work out if she’s dropping the nap or if this is normal for this age? Because her bed time just keeps getting later and later.

Here is her regular schedule:

Wake at 6:20 (often resistant to waking up, and honestly, same)

Breakfast, then playground followed by museum (they have a climbing a play area) or library

11:30ish nap 40mins max

Lunch, then aquarium/different playground/different library/zoo/children’s farm/museum

Dinner 5:30 followed by long walk around the city, bath, books bed

Lately she hasn’t been falling asleep until 9pm.

She doesn’t go to daycare, and instead spends the day with either me, my wife or her grandma. But she plays with lots of other kids and runs around *a lot*.

Is 10 hours total enough sleep? Should we be trying to get her to drop the nap so she can have more overnight sleep? Is there something we’re missing in this equation? She seems so tired in the morning, and she clearly needs the nap, but bedtime is just getting so late

Does anyone have any advice, please?

Sent my Pikmin out to get this Tuesday morning when I was at the airport and then completely forgot to check again before takeoff. Spent a few days in Japan for work, and now that I’m back home its journey is still 20 days for a location that’s roughly 1km away. Good luck, little buddy.

I managed to resist getting another pair of black Onis from Bears (just, and I’m still thinking about them), but I couldn’t resist this type 3 jacket from Momotaro. I haven’t had a denim jacket since high school, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how this one fades! (I still have no idea what to do with my arms in photos, but I really like this jacket.)
