Finally got my Rival, what’s next?!

After waiting and watching, one finally posted in a buy/sell group and I picked it up this morning! Took it directly to the range and it shoots great (love that trigger)

I have an optic to throw on it, besides needing to give it a good cleaning (the seller wayyyyy over oiled it as you can see on the trigger), I need to add some things (my backup gun in the CO division). Would love any pointers/companies/links for:

- Magwell, I’m thinking aluminum? (he didn’t have the original anymore)

- Mag base pads that play nice with the magwell

- Mags! (Only came with 2)

- Mag release - this one protrudes in a way that it’s interfering with my grip

- Anything else I may not be thinking of

Newer to guns, never owned a Canik, super excited to have this one, finally!

TIA!!

Finally got my Rival! Now to…

After waiting and watching, one finally posted in a buy/sell group and I picked it up this morning! Took it directly to the range and it shoots great (and yes, that trigger 😍)

Ok, besides needing to give it a good cleaning (the seller wayyyyy over oiled it), I need to add some things (I’ll be shooting IDPA in the CO division, I already have an optic). Would love any pointers/companies/links that’s good for:

- Magwell, I’m thinking aluminum? (he didn’t have the original anymore)

- Mag base pads that play nice with the magwell

- Mags! (Only came with 2)

- Mag release - this one protrudes in a way that it’s interfering with my grip

- Anything else I may not be thinking of

Edit to add/ask: I plan to run 124 grain through it, should I change the spring or leave it as is? (I can research this, just want to do the right thing)

Newer to guns, never owned a Canik, super excited to have this one, finally!

TIA!!

wrong item - best practice?

Hi all! I received the wrong item from a seller. I can see how it could happen because I got a pair of gray shorts instead of grey pants in the material is pretty much the same (and the shorts a much larger size). The internal package sent to me had a different number than the package picture in the listing so maybe they didn’t look at that.
Anyhoo, is it best to message the seller first or go ahead and use the dropdown menu for “Problems/order inquiry”?
I don’t want to hurt the seller if it’s an honest mistake but I do want to protect myself in regards to my money and getting what I paid for. TIA!

I’m not officially diagnosed (rheumatologist can’t see me until the end of June) but it’s looking very likely that I have Lupus. Last week I started to feel rough, this week my symptoms have gotten bad. I had a LTKR just over 8 months ago, things have been going really well, I’m back in the gym, haven’t had much swelling unless I stand too long, etc.
Earlier this week, as my symptoms have intensified, my knee has gotten more and more stiff. Could a Lupus flare cause swelling and stiffness in/around an artificial joint? My other knee is fine. I did get a CRP (c-reactive protein - an inflammatory marker) test done by my GP and it’s at a 22 (anything above 8 is considered high).

Has anyone dealt with this and, if so, what helped?
