Went to Academy to buy some cheap polos and “accidentally” stumbled upon the ammo section and found this. I took pictures of the back of the boxes but I can’t find what would make the price different. Both were 100 ct. boxes, but I did notice that one box was packaged tighter than the other.
What do you guys think/know about this?
Looks like Federal makes Blazer, CCI and Speer?
I've been looking at reviews on youtube and al of them have the areas missing for what seems to be an extra mag and other items. Is there a way to know what these items are, and if so are you able to purchase a version of the gun with everything in it?

Center Mass: 1.5 Mags. Walking in the red dot, went over too many clicks on accident but quickly corrected it.
Head Shot: 1 Mag after the sighting-in was done.
Shot exactly 500 rounds of Acri RN FMJ 124gr, gun was absolutely flawless as per usual.
This thing is a tack driver, 1000% held back by me the shooter. Still learning the best grip and fingertip position for this gun, but it's getting more natural in my hand.
Two failure to loads and one failure to eject in the first 10 rounds!! Using 124 grain Federal loads not some cheap range crap and yet a 'top of the line' model acting this way. Good thing I had a bunch of my friends around so they could all get a laugh at my expense as they pulled out there Glocks that shot flawlessly. "Oh well use this ammo, leave the gun racked open for two day, get another spring..." bla blah blah fn lame.
Picked up a new Mete SF One.
It looks like it has a new optic mounting pattern and plate for an RMR. I don’t have an RMR to test but the dimensions match RMR for the posts and holes.
I put the plate on my SFT purchased in early 2025 and one of the hole patterns has been moved and doesn’t line up with the new plate.
(Mete one still has the holes for RMSc/EPS)
Anyone know if they changed this for all the Mete series?
Went to academy to buy the G43x Coyote and walked out with this beauty. Holding this felt way better than any glock i owned. Canik has earned a new customer.
I am new to gun ownership and I have been worried about carrying one in the chamber. Is there any reason to be concerned about carrying one in the chamber with the MC9LS? Any tips on how to get more comfortable with carrying one in the chamber?
First Canik, almost done with it, MO4 optic, Olight PL-X, and a black (brass) Taylor Freelancer backstrap. The texture on the backstrap feels great in the hands and the added weight helps stabilize the gun.
I’m looking for 15 round mags for a Rival SFX. Will these TP9SFX mags fit? Appreciate any insights.

As said, I've recently gotten into guns, and have a few long guns, but now looking to get a 9mm handgun. A store near me is having a sale that looks pretty good, and wanted some thoughts on options.
I was leaning towards a full size, and aiming for the roughly 600 price range, with their sales I was thinking about one of these:
Mete SFX, Tan/Black - $440
Mete SFX Pro, Black - $517
The main question is whether or not the pro is worth the cost for upgrade for a new shooter? I have ammo, but money saved on this would go towards a Ruger 10/22 which is what I wanna get after.
Excuse my face and bad shooting. Just here testing a new gun and the Braun light from Harbor Freight, I shine away from Canik cuz of battery issues but going back to them, man them trigger something else. 500 rounds and the Braun still shooting strong but man, them Canik trigger.
Just got a FDE Mete SF to go along with my MC9, but I found the mags aren’t cross compatible. What mags will fit and where should I look for them? I’m currently in CO so I’m limited to 15 rounders. Any advice from the “Clanik”is appreciated
Finally finished testing with these and got more springs in and are now posted on my website. Designed to fit the Mete SFX mags but have tested fitment with a smaller mag too (can't remember which model). Work great semi, have not been able to test frt yet.
Feel like I walked out with a steal, but could just be out of the loop. Planned to look at an SFx Pro but none were in store, picked this one up to look at and it was $679.99 new and thought why not, it's below MSRP. I've never had a 'special edition' gun before and I liked how it felt in the hand. Went to pay out and they only charged me $589.99. Paid and walked out as fast as I could feeling like I did something wrong to be honest.
From what I can see online after a bit of looking this is fairly hard to find in stock and is usually above MSRP, not below. Did I get a good deal or am I just looking at things wrong? Either way I've got a solid new pistol, so I'm happy.
Bonus question- any recommendations for an IWB holster? All the posts I can find are fairly old. I used to carry an SFx with a DARA but don't see any options for a METE SF on their site. Haven't bought a holster in years so not sure what is good these days and Canik feels a bit left behind on third party gear.
Is the prime worth it as a range toy if I have no plans to carry it? If you don’t think so, what canik would you recommend as a fun range toy besides the TTI Combat?

Im looking for recommendations for any reasonable upgrade. This is my EDC. Ive got a 2025 Tacoma SR thats got a MOLLE section on the side of the center console. Any recommendations on a holster I can mount on the passenger side? I zip tied the holster that came with my gun there, and while it looks cool, it moves a bit much. It'll work for now but I want something solid thatll stay put with minimal wiggle.
Im open to putting a light in the front.
The trigger felt great. The reset was nice too.
Currently got Hornady Critial Duty 124gr loaded.
Open to any and all suggestions recommendations. Im unfamiliar with handguns as my area of expertise is rifles.

Haven't used a dot sight before so I wanted something cheap to play with. Ordered a Swampfox Sentinel from eBay for $60 expecting it to be a knockoff. If it is a knockoff it's a pretty good one. Came with stickers, custom tools, etc. Things I would expect them to skip when ripping off a design. Real or not seems to work well. Will update if it gives out on me or starts drifting on me after I put some rounds through it.
I hear we have to wait until mid to late May for the Prime Radian so I decided to play with a Herrington Arms universal comp. It's pretty!
Just got it today and I plan to try it out later on today or tomorrow. 😁
