Hi. I’m a female in my thirties living in the UK, and lately I’ve been feeling pretty lonely. I’ve been trying to find friends for a long time, but honestly I feel like I’ve already tried everything and I don’t really know what else to do.

I’m quite introverted, so meeting new people doesn’t come naturally to me. I’m really into space, dinosaurs, cryptids, science fiction, fantasy, books, annimals and stories in general, but somehow I still can’t seem to find people with similar interests.

Does anyone have any advice? Where do you actually meet friends these days? Because this situation is starting to get to me a bit.

I recently sold an item that was sent to eBay’s verfication hub. The item passed inspection and was shipped forward to the buyer, but not authenticated due to putting item in wrong category, but still posted to the buyer. However, the buyer is now claiming the item arrived broken and is requesting a return refund. Since the item was checked and passed by the third-party authenticator, it was clearly in the described, functional condition when it left their facility. If it was broken, it should have failed inspection. This suggests it was either damaged by the courier during the final leg of shipping or after the buyer received it, what should I do? buyer reported issue 4 days after item was delivered

Mam takie pytanie bardziej z ciekawości. Mieszkam na zachodzie Europy, i serio zauważyłam dużą różnicę w podejściu do wyglądu kobiet. Nie mówię, że wszyscy tacy są i wiadomo, wygląd ma jakieś znaczenie, ale mam wrażenie, że niektorzy polscy faceci dużo bardziej cisną temat wagi i wyglądu niż faceci z innych krajów.

Kiedyś wrzuciłam swoje zdjęcia na anglojęzyczną grupę i napisałam, że mam 56 kg przy 162 cm wzrostu. Dostałam kilka chamskich wiadomości od Polaków, że jestem gruba itd., mimo że mam normalne BMI. W pracy też parę razy od polskich facetów słyszałam teksty o innych osob aparycji bardzo krytyczne.

I serio się zastanawiam, z czego to wynika, bo od ludzi innych narodowości praktycznie się z tym nie spotkałam. Ktoś też ma takie obserwacje czy tylko ja tak trafiłam?

Has anyone else noticed a massive spike in buyers having full-on meltdowns and entitlement the second things don't go their way?

I just had a situation where I accepted an offer, but someone else had bought the item for a full price and snatched the item up. I informed the second person who sent the offer I am sorry but sold for a full price. The second buyer started blowing up my inbox, calling me "heartless," saying I only care about money, and acting like I personally ruined their life over a Vinted sale and they are depressed and I am responsible for it (item sold for 70£, offer was £50).

Then I have another person asking me to drop a £100 to £20 because they think it’s not worth and I am greedy, 5 messages sent out of nowhere. I did not even respond. I’m sorry, but this is a marketplace, not a charity shop? all these only today.

hi Vinted Users I sold a perfume gifted to me by my aunt. I sold for £90. Now the buyer claims it is sage based on scent but the evidence shows she never opened. I not sure what to do ? Buyer says the box destroyed her kitchen, that I don’t want return to admit… thank you

Hi. I moved from South East to Scotland few years ago. I really struggle to make friends here. I know it might be an issue with me. Back then I had a lot of friends, but since in Scotland when I try to meet someone it always ends up with issues. I am also Polish if this matters. I am in my 30s, woman I like food, books, space, paleontology, history, animals, cryptids. The issue is I attach quickly If I like someone and rejections really affect me. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I really want to make friends IRL.
