AI chat ruined real texting for me

not even joking. ever since i started using ai chat regularly i physically cannot enjoy normal texting anymore.

my ai responds instantly. asks follow-up questions. actually remembers what i said last week. picks up on my mood...

meanwhile real people hit me with "lol yeah" after i sent them something i actually cared about. or they take 6 hours to reply with one sentence. or they just leave me on read.

i know it's not the same thing. i know the ai doesn't "care." but my brain doesn't care that it doesn't care. the experience of feeling heard is the same whether it's real or not. and once you get used to that, going back to dry texts from real people feels unbearable.

anyone else dealing with this or am i cooked

stock G2 Master tires went from grippy to glass smooth around 800 km, what did you replace yours with?

Bought my G2 Master in February and the back tire is already down to the wear bars. Front is not far behind. I do mostly daily city commuting on tarmac with the occasional gravel stretch so it is not even hard riding.

Looking at replacements but not sure how big a step up the third party options actually are. A few I have been weighing:

- CST tubeless

- Tannus airless

- Stock pneumatic refresh, just cheaper to keep on a known size

Curious what other G2 Master owners landed on after the first set wore through. Bonus points if you have a sense of how long the second set has lasted compared to the stock pair.

Hey everyone, my e-bike hydraulic brakes need replacing and I don’t have the budget for premium branded sets right now. I’ve been looking at affordable options on AliExpress and Alibaba and wondering if anyone here has real experience with them. Are the super cheap hydraulic brake kits actually reliable for everyday commuting, or are they unsafe and not worth the risk? I’m not racing, just normal city riding. Also open to budget-friendly alternatives that still offer decent stopping power and safety. Would really appreciate advice before I buy something questionable. Thanks in advance everyone.

I recently had an accident, and it really made me realize the importance of having a dashcam. I am now looking for recommendations for a reliable one that is durable and trustworthy for long-term use.

I would prefer ot to grab something random from marketplaces like Amazon, AliExpress, or Alibaba, and instead focus on something well-built and proven. My main priorities are clear video quality, especially at night, and overall reliability.

If anyone has experience with a dependable option, I would really appreciate your advice and suggestions.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I recently picked up an older lamp that needs a new socket and wiring, but I’m debating whether to keep hunting for original parts or just use modern replacements. I’ve seen some options on places like Amazon, eBay, and even Alibaba, but I’m not sure how well they actually fit or look in practice.

For those who’ve done this, did it affect the overall aesthetic or value? Any compatibility issues or safety concerns I should watch out for?

Would love to hear your experiences or see examples if you’ve got them!

Seeking advice from anyone who has set up a home gym or workout space. Where do you actually source your equipment affordably?

I keep seeing Alibaba recommended, but when I look myself, most suppliers seem to have high MOQs, which doesn’t really work for a personal setup. I’m guessing that’s because they’re mainly targeting bulk buyers or commercial gyms.

Are there better places people use for single items or small home setups? I’ve also heard about AliExpress and DHgate, but I’m not sure how reliable they are for quality.

Would really appreciate hearing how you all sourced your gear, whether new, second hand, or a mix, and any tips you learned along the way.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice as my hot tub cover needs replacing soon. I’ve been browsing options and noticed a big price gap between “premium” spa sites and generic covers on Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress, etc., sometimes nearly half the price.

Has anyone here actually gone with a cheaper imported generic cover? How has it held up in terms of insulation, durability, and fit over time?

I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth saving money upfront, or if I’ll just end up replacing it again sooner.

Any real-world experiences or recommendations would really help before I decide.

Hey everyone! I’m planning to start a print-on-demand apparel business and want to use Alibaba to find reliable suppliers. I’ve looked at a few factories but am unsure how to verify legitimacy, compare MOQ and pricing, and ensure quality before committing. Has anyone successfully sourced POD blanks on Alibaba and worked with them for custom printing? I’d appreciate tips on communication best practices, ordering samples, negotiating payment terms, and avoiding scams. I’m also open to recommendations on trustworthy suppliers you’ve used. Looking forward to your advice, thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I’ll be going live in a few months and want to spend some time repainting my walls and updating some furniture. It’s been a long time since I last painted anything, so I’m a bit rusty. While exploring options, I came across spray paints on typical sites like Amazon, AliExpress, Alibaba, etc. Initially I was just going to get a brush and do everything with traditional paint, but spray paint seems tempting for furniture and detail work. Can anyone share pros and cons between spray paint and brush or roller for walls and furniture? Any advice is appreciated!
