Hello everyone! I am on the hunt to gather more information regarding this Brandon and Hubbard stained glass lamp. I want learn more about its value and any other general information that could be provided on it.

I inherited the lamp from my late great grandmother about ten years ago. Not much is know on our end about how the lamp was purchased, from where, or even when. We have looked online at various catalogs that Brandon and Hubbard had, but to no avail. We think that it was purchased around the 1920's. I have found similar lamps with similar stems but we have found nothing that matches the lamp shade pattern.

The lamp itself is about 21in tall. The lamp shade is made of cream/yellow stained glass and metal flowers/leaves. The bottom of the lamp reads "186 B" along with "Brandon and Hubbard".

I can provide more pictures upon request if need be.

Its finally done.

I decided to wax it but even after polishing its still little dove. Should I have gone for the high gloss in spray?

The orchidea gets watering by the cup and i sprinkle it with water 1 time a day.

Overall I love what I have done but I am wondering what people woule think about my craft.

Have a nice day <3

I recently picked up an older lamp that needs a new socket and wiring, but I’m debating whether to keep hunting for original parts or just use modern replacements. I’ve seen some options on places like Amazon, eBay, and even Alibaba, but I’m not sure how well they actually fit or look in practice.

For those who’ve done this, did it affect the overall aesthetic or value? Any compatibility issues or safety concerns I should watch out for?

Would love to hear your experiences or see examples if you’ve got them!

I acquired these lamps and would like to clean them up and find the right kinds of shades. Does anyone know what these would have used? Thank you in advance!

Help me find what lamp this is

I got this cute little lamp from a garage sale a couple weeks ago, it’s kinda beat up but i thought it was still pretty and wanted to clean it up a little. I used google lens to look for what it was called maybe a manufacturer or something, I was gonna repaint the flowers on it but didn’t wanna do so If it’s a super rare lamp or something. Google ai said it’s from the 1940s, but the only match I found of the exact lamp is a facebook post from a while ago of someone who was selling the same one in some kind of garage sale thing, they didn’t say what lamp. I also used the photo search option on eBay but couldn’t find the exact lamp. The part where you put the bulb says “Leviton” but didn’t see this when I looked up leviton frosted glass lamps. Anyone have any idea of what it could be? I’m curious if it’s actually from the 1940s I love older stuff like that and it would be so awesome if it turns out to be from around then. Took a picture of the cord to better date it and tried to take pictures of any identifying information, super interested in the history of this lamp now lol help me find out!

Cannot find any info about this lamp. Please help

I've spent the past couple hours searching for any info about this lamp and nothing, not even anything similar. Hopefully yall might be able to help me out. I belonged to my deceased Great Aunt who may have acquired it in Okinawa post war. I cannot even find the shade pattern anywhere either.
