[Japanese > English] Celadon Mishima yunomi. Can anyone recognise the seal?

I can't read this signature. I presume this is Japanese cursive script. I am guessing this is Koda ware from Kyushu, but I cannot be sure and celadon isn't linked to just one area in Japan. The flowers are typical of Mishima, a style common in Kyoto.
If someone could confirm the signature, I'd be really grateful!

My friend passed away

My friend passed away about a year ago, I wanted to know what is the Japanese version of rest in peace.

Or maybe sleep well.

I plan to carve a small shrine out of some stone I have and want to carve the hiragana or kanji Infront of her name

(rest in peace/sleep well [friend])

[Japanese > English] graffiti on Greek wall

This is some graffiti on a wall in Greece (I don't really see Japanese on Greek walls so it's got me curious). I've tried to learn Japanese before so I still have the characters on my keyboard and I think I found like 1 of them: "七" (which I found in Kanji Japanese means 7) but I still got no idea what's it saying, if it's even saying anything or if it's just plain nonsense 💔 (oh btw sorry about the tilted angle of the photo, I was in a rush while taking it and I just thought about putting it on my ig story 😭)

[Japanese>English] song lyrics

My English interpretation of “Yuushinron” by RADWIMPS

“You cried so beautifully that I couldn’t help smiling beside you.

And when you smiled back at me, I felt so happy I almost cried.”

“君があまりにも綺麗に泣くから僕は思わず横で笑ったよ

すると君もつられて笑うから僕は嬉しくて 泣く 泣く”

[Japanese > English] Can someone please explain what is written on this Noh theatre mask?

The mask was bought in an antique art dealers store in Japan in 2024. The man could only explain to me that it was Japanese when asked where it came from. As it was very late and the seller was very old and spoke little to no English I didn't trouble him to explain the mask further. It had sat high on the wall in his shop window in Nara.

[Cantonese -> English] 東邪西毒

東邪西毒 (Cantonese: Dung Che Sai Duk, Mandarin: Dōng Xíe Xi Dú) is the name of a 1994 movie by Wong Kar Wai from Hong Kong. (And in my humble opinion it's one of the greatest movies ever made, but that's digression.)

In English the movie is titled "Ashes of Time", but clearly that's not what the Chinese characters mean at all. I've looked up the meaning in my Mandarin dictionary, and it rather seems to mean something like "East Disaster, West Poison", where the "disaster" is of a supernatural kind brought about by demons.

My questions:

 • Is my own translation correct? If it's all wrong, let me know. If it's loosely correct but can be refined, also do let me know.
 • Is (or could) there be a difference in meaning when it is interpreted as (or by) Cantonese as opposed to Mandarin?

Japanese > English

For extra credit in one of my classes, my professor wrote Japanese (if I'm not mistaken) on the board. No photos were allowed so my friend tried to draw it. The only clue was "something that happened during our exam." I'm pretty sure it was something to do with the wind being strong/loud, but I want to make sure. Translation of what it says would be helpful! Thanks

[Unknown > English] Design on Hat

Japanese probably? I like the colors and design, but don’t want to buy something without knowing what it says. Using Google Translate didn’t help, is it just gibberish or an actual word?
