Thanks for everything...... doctors changed my life

Non med student here

Who said doctors can't create impact or are evil( I know there will be a few bad examples and greedy docs), but most of you guys want to help, and my life has taken a 180 degree turn.

I was a failure, a dropout , on the doom with career and life.......and one day, on an evening i decided to call the mental health helpline number, they asked me to come down to the state institute of mental health, there I met my first psychiatrist and psychologist, they gave me 40 min of their time and thoroughly analysed everything and gave me a provisional diagnosis of adhd and later i switched to a different teaching hospital and over there they spoke with me and my parents and gave us a bunch of questionnaires to fill and said I have ADHD type C, they gave me medication ( i didn't take it for a week because I was scared to take it), and boom from then there was no looking back, soon they increased and adjusted my dosage and delivery mechanism.

And now I am someone who's doing two bachelors degrees at the same time and preparing for upsc and in both the bachelor sem 1 i scored more than 90 percent (91 in one and the other 94). I was always a 50 percent student infact i failed in 12th and dropped out of bachelors

I don't know how much this means to you guys(hopefully it motivates you people or makes you smile atleast)or i might just be another psychiatric patient, but for me it changed my whole life, it feels like a new life started at the age of 23 and all this learning and studying is new for me

i didn't know something as small as two pills can make me go from a failure to one of the toppers in the whole state university and infact i am doing so good with the upsc prep my friends who have been preparing for years feel i am doing a lot better than them in just 3 months, i wanna cry but I'll not

Thank you and i love you people ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻

Hello

So would you guys like to see educational posts? Why am i asking this is ee sub antha em ledu and i think theres a lot of value(to milk) for medical educational content . We have them on insta and also on the western side of medical reddit. No one cares about this sub cuz antha busy and no direction (well I thought this sub would be very dead but apparently its not,i hope 👀) I think it would be very helpful as reference material for juniors and also pgs. If you guys are interested and want to see stuff like that let me know.

This is the post i made few days back(actually i was on this sub from the very beginning but I deleted all of my accounts)

HELLO GUYS ,myself a recently graduated DOCTOR , MBBS from OSMANIA, looking for some side bucks to sustain myself for my PG PREP 😅(posting for a friend)

Hey guys, I just graduated and finished MBBS from Osmania Medical College. Currently preparing for PG and looking for some part time work/side bucks preferably remote to sustain myself a bit till then instead of asking money from home for everything 😅

Tried looking into teleconsultation and similar stuff but couldn’t really figure out what and where to apply , also like I have seen some posts and pay is abnormally low like 10rs per cons. Open to tutoring, medical content, research work,BIPC coaching for intermediates or honestly anything flexible and genuine

Would appreciate any advice or leads, thanks :)

Help me choose my branch 🙏🏻

I'm a graduate, currently preparing for neet pg. The problem is, everyone around me has already decided their dream branch and dream college then wanna get into but nenu inka decide avvalekapotunna.

Since the internship, i genuinely had no interest in any of the departments but I think it's high time that I choose one. I also don't wanna compromise like edi oste adi teskunta ani.

Since I'm passionate about no branch, I want to choose the one which at least is not chaotic or something which I'll regret taking.

I personally dont wanna live my life in the hospital all the time, so a good WLB is a must( i already wasted my teenage life so much I can't afford to waste anymore) .Also gives me a good amount of money. I want to earn so badly. I'm not kidding i really do have unrealistic goals which i hope I'll make.

So i genuinely wanna know what u guys think is the best branch for you. What are ur reasons for wanting it. And also future opportunities in society ah particular branch teeskunte. Like some say medicine saturate aypoindi ippud em nadustaledu type shi.

Genuinely want inputs. Help me choose my branch.

( I also did ask my seniors, some of them said anesthesia teesko, chill untadi, satisfaction kuda ostadi emergency, freelancing type kuda cheskovachu ani but idk)

Which one should I choose?

Kamineni narketpally

Mamatha khammam

Bhaskar

RIMS adilabad

Medicity

Prathima

Cmr

My only requirements are

  1. It needs to have good clinical exposure

  2. Good research opportunities

  3. College not too strict where even ipads and phones are not allowed

  4. Likely near city where it's not isolated.

If you have any other good college recommendations, PLEASE feel free to suggest.

Wrote NEET this year, getting 385 according to key. This was my 1st drop, I gave NEET 2025 w my 12th boards and got around 200 marks.

I didn't give my 100% this year, I tried from June ending till November after that fell out of order, couldn't manage, and slowly mentally I gave up, although I was showing up for offline coaching, I was waiting for it to end. I procrastinated a lot.

In March, I started revising a bit, mock scores were 260-270, felt like losing was inevitable. I kept trying, but def not hard. I was, still am mentally exhausted from this. I thought I was truly detached from all this and my mental health would be fine, but no, even childhood trauma started bothering me at this time, it made me feel worthless almost, I guess that's what having so much time for yourself does, I tried keeping myself busy.

Even on the exam day ik I could have done better, if I didn't underattempt & if I managed my time better, atleast I could have pushed it to 430+

Now I'm left with two options

B cat MBBS vs B Pharm

I've been trying to convince myself for B pharm, but not working. I'm more inclined towards MBBS, but I'm scared that will I even be able to get thru it if my situation is like this?

I don't want to make an irrational decision because of my emotions & dig my own grave. I keep having the concern of, even if join private MBBS, will I be able to handle that stress? moreover the academics in MBBS? or will my procrastination end me? Do people like me even get thru MBBS, get something good out of NEET PG?

any seniors on here please do give me your 2 cents, it would help a lot
